New Diabetes Sales Specialist positions?

Lots of apparently new diabetes positions posted today. Injectable experience is desired. Lilly?

Fat chance. Lillys reps are paid well over 100k. They do not have cso's for this.
NN would be the other option but again paid over 100k no contract. Amalyn is likely, small company and low base for reps. to begin with. So perfect transition to contract. I will check it out. I have tried to get a job with NN and Lilly for over a year. I have tons of Diab. exp. and because I a current cso they will not even give me a phone interview. Fucks

does anyone know if this is client managed or inventiv-anyone know the timetable for interviews, anyone know compensation package or size of territories, anything about training

You're nuts if you think Lilly reps get paid the coin you think. Actually, they're pretty close to contract sales in pay. That's a fact. The contract gig with Amylin is good. If you can get it...take it.

This is not right at all. I have worked on a contract through Quintiles with Eli Lilly selling Humalog and Byetta. Lilly reps do not make 100k base. After bonus yeah some of them do but your basic PCP reps makes 65-75. Amylin actually pays their reps better than most big pharma. My last Amylin counterpart was making 90 base. You getting an interview with NN or Lilly has nothing to do with your being a cso. I have interviewed with both after being a cso. With the industry being so competitive most of the people getting hired no someone internally. Most of these positions, Lilly especially, have already been filled before they are posted. They have to post them publicly for HR reasons.

Nope, no response yet, except for the confirmation email.

What kind of confirmation email? The one that says they received your resume? I sent some information to a recruiter, and all I have heard from her is that she would be calling me after Thanksgiving if I was a fit. I do have diabetes experience, so I would expect she would be calling sometime soon.

The email that comes right after you apply.

I know for a fact that as of right now they are interviewing managers. They won't conduct rep interviews until after managers are in place. As well, this is with Amylin selling Byetta and the future GLP-1 (Byderioun: not sure of the spelling on this one).
