You all are better off...Lilly loves to promote unqualified candidates from within. You will feel like you are back in college again, your opportunities are as good as your popularity !

Could not have said it better. Promotions throughout the entire Lilly organization is not based on performance or results but rather your likability factor and/or ability to kiss a**, suck c**k and/or eat pu**y. Promotions in sales are based on projects and “behaviors” not sales results. If you are a networker extraordinaire and excel at kissing up welcome to the big league! If these behaviors aren’t your strong point, consider not being hired the greatest blessing in your professional career.
 






It is very sad to see how Lilly has become such a mess. Too many people worried about pandering to their bosses and not getting out doing the job they should have been recruited for. Dave Ricks is a very poor leader and a good example of all that is wrong with corporate America. I spent 25 years at Lilly when we had great Neuro products that could be sold despite the appalling R&D and Executive Leadership. If you have good products you can sell them. But these days it is more important to have a diverse workforce with management made up of MBAs (Master of Bullshit and Annoyance), who think they know better than people in the field doing the selling.
 






So let me get this straight. Lilly is getting ready to launch a new drug that will try and compete with Amgen. In this hiring process the candidates were not even interviewed by their potential hiring manager. They were interviewed by random DM’s throughout the country. Then if I’m reading correctly Lilly is hiring the majority of territories with people that have zero experience over high quality seasoned reps. I have to agree with the statement that this is a very poor business model and a recipe for disaster. Good luck training all the newbies and preparing for this extremely competitive launch.


Well they are letting Inventiv recruiters handle the entire recruiting and most of those recruiters only want to hire new college graduates so good luck with that.
 






Ok Lilly I get that I did not get the job and the recruiter email 1(0 days later) was fine but I don't need 7 different computer generated responses either telling me the job requisition no longer exists or sorry, no job for me. Got it, I didn't get the job stop emailing me.
OMG. no communication at all and now the rejections just keep coming. Stop it. I know I didn't get hired, I don't need the constant reminders.

They are paying poorly. They tried to recruit me and I have a lot of neuro experience. Been in the industry selling to neuro for 15 years. I wasn't leaving and taking a 15 or more K pay cut. Lilly is stupid. They have no relationships in neurology and now this...good luck with Amgen out first. Novartis has been in these offices for years with MS drugs, etc. Access is now given to Amgen and always has been to Novartis. It's over for these Lilly suckers who got hired. Good luck.
 
























It will only be a matter of time before Lilly will be served with a Law suit, you can not continue to say on Linkedin and everywhere else we are hiring new college graduates or less than 2 years of experience.
The reps who have experience on the Neuro at least in our area were experienced Diabetes reps who were moved over and now Lilly is hiring as they have done for the last 2 years only college graduates as in just graduated no experience none. Yes I realize this is cheap but a company can not discriminate for every position for 2 years not one has been filled with any one over the age of 24 in my area same with Allergan. How can a company do this and it be legal? Managers should fight back especially if someone is qualified and the pay they agree upon is within range. Not every rep who has been downsized expects a grand salary they just want the opportunity to work and those that don't agree to a set salary within a range haven't had to look for a job long enough.
 






All I know is that these "disease state" Lilly reps best stop talking about Aimovig and Amgen and their hub and how "their" meaning Lilly's drug is going to be better . YOU HAVE NO DRUG. I am getting ready to turn one of the reps in in the Midwest. This rep is going around to my offices WITH NO DRUG and saying theirs is going to be better.

Lilly is going to NOT get approval if this type of nonsense continues to happen. I have the. name of the rep, the office staff said they'd validate it and this rep will be fired and NO drug will be approved.

I'm tired of hearing this day after day. Your HR needs to put a STOP to this. Or, you have no approval. OFF LABEL PROMOTION beforeNO label.

Go get em! Also wait until all the newbies they just hired for their primary care force hit the ground running. They basically hired all millennials with zero Pharma experience over high quality seasoned reps. Amgen will have a field day with all the mistakes this group will be making.

Go back to your damn Amgen board, no one wants you here. Amgen spent MONTHS doing "pre-promotion" and comparing the drugs in the class before ANY of them were approved
