NCAA FOOTBALL WEEK 8 PICK EM!

If you are accepting votes from those of us that have bottom feeder status, I vote yes. If you are not accepting our votes, well then I guess I will just shut up and return to my corner.

Ah come on, WT. You're probably just pissed because you lost the Arizona St. pick.

We already explained why those who have made most of the picks should get priority on the board. It's the fair thing to do. In fact, you said that you agreed with the concept. So stop playing the victim. Good God. I explained that as long as you continue to make your picks that you will be a premium board member well in advance of the end of the season. What you need to do is work on improving your scores. Once you do all everything else will fall into place.

Thanks for your vote.

Did you see the way that Duck QB Marcus Mariota can read defenses? I saw him fake the Pac 12's best defense out of their jock straps at least 3x's in the first half. Not only can that kid run, pass and work magic with a triple option - he's smart as a damn whip. And only a freshman! WOW! 3 more years unless the pros nab him first. And at 6'4, 215 pounds with that kinda talent he's going to be worth some big, big bucks in the NFL! If I was his dad I would tell him to go light on the booze, dope and the women for the next 3 years. Those 3 things have ruined more young careers than anything else. I know Marcus was raised in Hawaii but I think that he must be Italian with that name. If he grows his hair out a little, sports a little goatee and puts on some white shoes he could be the nation's next Joe Namath! Go head-on, Marcus!

You are still, by far, the smartest player on the Pick 'Em board, Tink.

I understand that your loyalty got in the way of your good sense on the Arizona State pick. But that is an honorable character trait and I commend you for it. It just reinforces my belief that you are not only the smartest player on Pick 'Em. You are also one of the most decent and moral. And I hope that you prevail and become our Pick 'Em Queen for 2012/13!

Whoa now little soldier! This ain't Match.com.

:)

I hope I have a better Sat than last week. This is what did me in last year, my loyalty-- might have to re-think my strategy for next week. But, there are some teams I just refuse to pick on principle, even if I know they are going to win.

Good luck this weekend.

Yes, Oregon has an amazing team, period.

Howdy partners, I hate to give that that other fella claiming to be Bronco any attention, but he beat me to getting picks in this week, so I will just point out, while I am a True Grit kind of guy, he is all about the Brokeback mountain.

The Bronco's picks are:

1. OREGON VS. ARIZONA STATE +8 (Time for some more video game football! Is ARIZONA TINKR's favorite team?) How could I pick against the only woman that knows anything about football!!!!!!!
SATURDAY OCT. 20th

2. IOWA STATE VS. OKLAHOMA STATE -14.5

3. VIRGINIA TECH VS. CLEMSON -8.5

4. LSU VS. TEXAS A&M +3.5 5. STANFORD VS. CAL +2.5

6. BYU VS. NOTRE DAME -13.5
7. SOUTH FLORIDA VS. LOUISVILLE -6.5 (Louisville-The only undefeated Cardinal left!) DID YOU KNOW SOUTH FLORIDA IS WHERE DYSLEXIC FSU STUDENTS GO?

8. MICHIGAN STATE VS. MICHIGAN -10 9. SOUTH CAROLINA VS. FLORIDA -3 (BIG GAME!! This decides the SEC EAST and is qualifying game for the NC!) (Will Fucktard keep her blue and orange grannie panties on?) Fucktard might not know anything about football, but I think she is hot, thats why I try to pick fights with her

10. TEXAS TECH VS. TCU +2 (Guns up or down?)

11. ALABAMA VS. TENNESSEE +20.5 ("The 3rd Saturday in October-One of the oldest rivalries in college football.") Hey Pale! Some of these Yankees just have no idea. I got my cigar ready! hope you did not get that cigar from a man named clinton, roll tide

12. KANSAS STATE VS. WEST VIRGINIA -2.5 (If K. STATE is 4 REAL they will prove it this weekend)

13. WASHINGTON VS. ARIZONA -7.5

14. UTAH VS. OREGON STATE -10.5

Time for me to ride out, but no fear, the sun will rise and Bronco will be back again next week.

Sorry about your ASU pick! I really thought ASU would be a lot closer than they were--- I have to say losing 2 of their best players in the first Q really hurt them, and I think they would have scored more if they hadn't lost those 2.

I'm going to be watching that Alabama-Tennessee game real close tomorrow. I figure that Arizona State and Tennessee are two evenly matched teams. If Alabama doesn't roll over Tennessee like Oregon rolled over Arizona State then I call bullshit on Alabama being #1 AP and BCS. Plus, Alabama is playing in Tennessee's backyard - just like Oregon played in Arizona. So it will truly be a good matchup to measure who's really the best team in the nation. And I wonder if Sabin will pull AJ McCarron and Eddy Lacy in the 2nd half like Chip Kelly pulled Marcus Mariota and De'Anthony Thomas? I doubt it. Sabin likes to grandstand and run the score up. Besides, Tennessee might give him a run for his money.

Bronco, If you want to use numbers then I definitely can do that to. I am sorry to interrupt this Oregon Ducks circle jerk spooge fest but just consider some of these stats:

NCAA WEBSITE: http://www.ncaa.com/stats/football/fbs/current/team/1042/p1

1. Alabama #1 in Total Defense

2. Total Yards Allowed Per Game: 181.17

Bleacher Report: http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...fense-on-track-to-be-the-best-in-tide-history

1. 2011 Rush Yards Per Game Allowed: 39.8

2. 2011 Pass Yards Per Game Allowed: 151

I will take a defense like this every day over a flashy fun and gun offense.

Concerning the Tennessee Game tomorrow what concerns me is that the line started at +18 Tenn and has moved to +20. I think Tennessee has some injuries. I picked Alabama not to cover the spread and am now having some second thoughts.

I just noticed that Arizona State does indeed have the best defense in the PAC 12 and are #8 in total defense in the country. The next PAC 12 team is USC at #26 in total defense in the country.

Oregon has a great offense but it helps to also have some of the weakest defenses in the country to score on. Do you see how many SEC Defenses are in the top 15? LSU, Florida, South Carolina and BAMA. Like I have said before PAC 12 football is video game football. SEC Football is Old Man Football!

Your numbers are meaningless since Alabama has played nothing but patsies so far. We'll see how they do against Tennessee tomorrow even though Tennessee is really just another cream puff with a 3-3 record. So is Mississippi State, a team that has played almost all losers. LSU will be the real test if the Tide manages to get by both Tennessee and Mississippi State.

Btw, 2011 is over, BamaBoy. This is 2012.

SATURDAY OCT. 20th

2. IOWA STATE VS. OKLAHOMA STATE

3. VIRGINIA TECH VS. CLEMSON

4. LSU VS. TEXAS A&M

5. STANFORD VS. CAL

6. BYU VS. NOTRE DAME

7. SOUTH FLORIDA VS. LOUISVILLE

8. MICHIGAN STATE VS. MICHIGAN

9. SOUTH CAROLINA VS. FLORIDA

10. TEXAS TECH VS. TCU

11. ALABAMA VS. TENNESSEE

12. KANSAS STATE VS. WEST VIRGINIA

13. WASHINGTON VS. ARIZONA

14. UTAH VS. OREGON STATE

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Just a personal opinion, but I think that's a dynamite choice! :D

This is America, the land of the free and the home of the brave. Next to American Idol and invading defenseless nations, family fighting is a favorite national pasttime!

You moeron! I knew I should have stayed w/ Alabama. My kids are giving me down the road.

I fully concur that Bama played a good game against 3-3 Tennessee and that Bama has a very fine team. We must remember that Sabin kept his A-Team in the game (to include McCarron and Lacy) until the last 7 minutes of the 4th quarter when he sent in the scrubs. He ran up the score. I congratulate Bama for a game well played.

However, I still contend that Bama should not be ranked #1 BCS and AP. I think Oregon would beat them if they played next week. When the facts change I am open to changing my mind. I will have a much better idea when Bama plays LSU and Texas A&M - and when Oregon plays USC, Stanford and Oregon State. But when we get the new poll rankings on Sunday - Oregon should be #1. Alabama should be #2 and Florida should be #3. (Alabama beat Tennesee by a wider margin than Florida beat Tennessee - so that is the rationale I use to rank #2 and #3.

The Gators MANGLED the Cocks. I know their superstar is injured, however, you can't build a team with one player.

NCAA FOOTBALL WEEK 8 PICK EM FINAL

1. PALE HORSE! (9-5) BRONCO FRAUD!! (9-5) (Bronco Fraud beats BroncoBoy Again!!)

2. BRONCOBOY (8-6) & FUCKTARD (8-6)

3. WHITE TRASH (7-7)

4. BAMABOY (6-8) BREAKING NEWS (6-7) Welcome back Breaking News!!

5. TINKRBELLE (4-10) OUCH!! WTF is going on with TINK???

WEEK 8 THOUGHTS:

There were some really impressive games this past weekend. The Gators looked great in the swamp against South Carolina. SC had some players out due to injury and flu but the Gators totally dominated them.

The most impressive win this weekend in my opinion goes to Kansas State. They dismantled West Virginia at West Virginia which is a very tough place to play. K. State beat WVA so bad that Geno Smith is no longer in the running for the Heisman.

BAMA beat the hell out of Tennessee at Neyland Stadium (Capacity 106,000) with Peyton Manning and Fat Phil Fulmer in attendance. BAMA and Tennessee is one of the oldest rivalries in College Football dating back to 1901. Tennessee might not be a great team but BAMA is their biggest and most bitter rival. Major rivals play each other tougher especially at home than non rivals no matter what their ranking (believe me Tennessee hates Alabama especially now with 6 straight wins). AJ McCarron threw for over 300 yards and if he keeps playing like this against SEC defenses he should be invited to New York for the Heisman Trophy Ceremony.

Oregon looked great against Arizona State in Tempe with a capacity of (71,000). Was Arizona or Oregon even states when BAMA and Tennessee started playing in 1901? Just kidding Bronco, don't stroke out on me! The Ducks looked great but I have to agree with one of the ESPN commentators who said "Oregon has not faced a dominant defensive line." Oregon will not face a dominant defensive line until the National Championship if they can beat USC twice. They also have to get past that little team 30 minutes down the road called The Beavers. I am sure they will keep putting up obnoxious video game numbers on pourous swiss cheese defenses.

There is still lots of College Football to be played!!

When I moved to Alabama from Tennessee I told my wife that there was no way in hell my kids would EVER go to Tuscaloosa. I hated that team w/ every fiber. Two Alabama graduates later I have softened on that deal. I actually like the school. My fellow Vols ain't so open minded as me.

K-State looked great. Especially Florida. I am looking for the BCS to maybe mix it up here at 1930.

I ain't worried about the Ducks. Hell the stupid ducks fly straight over my blind as I pick them off like sheep.
