National Conference Call Update

If your manager has threatened you with a PIP before when your numbers were down but never officially placed you on one & now #'s are back up, does that make your chances of getting laid off higher? I hear all the talk of reps who are currently on one or who have ever been on one who are being laid off prior to the announced layoffs. Do they still get severance? That would suck to be laid off this week before the big cuts & not even get severance. I love my job & would like to keep it actually but I realize odds may not be in my favor.

They will usually offer you severance so at least you will get that

Word is that Illinois reps need to worry as well. IDPA is one if not the largest plans that Shire has never been able to get access to for Vyvanse. Unfortunately if I am one of the reps in these areas I would worry like I would if I was in Ohio.

I hope I get laid off if severance package is good. I know I would be able to handle it better than some others in my region.
Anyone else hoping to get a severance so they can look at other opportunities while getting paid?
I'm sure there will be personal attacks on me for thinking this way, so keep them to yourself

I think that is noble. Older tenured reps should be much more financially secure.

Friday we will find out how many reps, but we won't find out who is let go until the end of the month. They are hoping some people will move on to other opportunities without the company having to pay a severance.

I believe this comment is most likely true. I hope they are ready for people not to work at all until final announcement. Nothing would make me more upset.

Just make the cuts and move on.

They are not obligated nor should they pay us severance. What about the pay and bonuses etc all these years and the quality of life that had provided. It was a great run. New leadership has let us down but all good things come to end.
