My version of 15 by 15

According to the "deli slinger dude" myself and all the 15ers will be gone in 12 more days. Great, buy my ass out then, I have two offers I can take anytime in the next few weeks. With all my years, it will be a great windfall and I can bank some serious cash.

But you know what? I think I'm still here in 13 more days doing my thing. There is no way I'm walking from this job getting paid six figures plus bonus for really doing nothing more than dropping some samples, checking VM & emails and getting in on the conference calls for the special project that I was asked to participate in (because of my many successful years with the company).

The way I look at it, either way, I'm the WINNER!

No, I don't ride the short bus. But it looks as if you sure do! Please share with us what it is like to ride on it. Do they give you snacks like pudding and stuff? Does you chin strap sometimes get too tight when your mom snugs it on your melon? Do they have "sing alongs" that you all participate in? Please enlighten us.

15 expresses him/herself well. Tough sh_t that not everyone recognizes it. I am over 45, have over 15 yrs with a different big pharma company. Same thing going on over here.

Yeah right...no masfeasance going on among the excecutive ranks at Merck...it is such an honest ethical company...

15 X 15 gets it...As a former drug rep, I salute all 15ers because they are probably some of the smarter and more aware, (business savvy) employees still at Merck...

15 X 15 is no more dishonest or corrupt than the enviroment he finds himself working in...

He is pragmatic, and makes the most of his life by optimizing his work/life balance...Furthermore, as Merck continues to chisel and cheese reps compensation with their nickel & dime cuts, 15 X 15 guy just employs the natural laws of physics...

For every action, their is an equal and opposite reaction...

Bravo 15 X 15 guy...keep all of us former reps entertained with your brilliance...We are rooting for you...
 






Does anyone have any legit intel that there are going to be layoffs this month? I just don't see it. We are working our azzes off in my region. Anyone? I just hope you are right.

Former rep? one more: malcontent. dishonest and corrupt? I'd say merck does more good than say, oh, big tobacco. there are no more bigger hypocrites than a "15." really good money,car,computer,expenses, pension, 401k, free lunches and easy hours (well except the 15's who work no hours). remind me of an occupier. "I'm mad that I have little to no talent or skills but I'm mad about...." what exactly? Bitter? OK. It's such a bad job that very few ever leave it unless they have to huh? get over it. what's the beef? I don't get it.
Don't want to do the job? rather go hit golf balls? OK. shut up and go work on your slice. Former rep. ? there are always those in the crowd that can justify their actions (in this case their drug rep job working for a toxic company) for the filthy lucre they deposit into their bank accounts...

you are the kind of pimp or prostitute that does anything for money...you have no dignity at all...

yeah I'm a former rep too. laid off 5 years ago. I see things a little different. I worked very hard for merck and was very successful. It didn't matter. It was hard but I got over it. I don't blame merck. life goes on. but I certainly don't "root" for the guy that's still there-mainly cheating on his expenses and working on his golf game. why would I?
I was in my docs office the other day. A guy I had called on for years. I saw merck back in the lunch room with the catered food playing grab ass with the nurse, talking about going shopping for new suits and the nice place they stayed at the last meeting and were they were going on vacation. I haven't had a real one in years. I pay 1,200 a month for COBRA from my last temporary job. Then I come on here and read about this "15" guy. bragging about how much golf he plays. how much money he has. how he scams and skims his expenses. how he laughs at the hard working rep.
I hope he chokes. I'm not too entertained by his "physics." I kow what merck reps make for the little they do, so I don't weep for the "chisel" on their compensation. I don't think he's "brilliant" because he has "life and no work balance". I hope he chokes.

We all know there are tons of 15's in the field force. This guy is nothing but a big talker. Lets, see, we're down to about 8 days remaining before all this is going to change. Lets see who knows what they're talking about-the 15 guy or this slug who pipes in every once in a while and tries to tell us how honest and hard working he is.

What I like the best are the hours in which he posts. Working so hard but time to stay home on CP.

At the time of discharge should a judgement of fraudulent behavior be determined pursuant to employment the employee could be subjected to suspensions or forfeiture of further or future compensations.
Mis-reporting on say, expenses could consitute such fraud and put those "big buyouts and deposits" at risk. Guess who has more lawyers? Or as someone in management once told me: "If you want to sue Merck, get in line, it's long."
