Mike Small - HCV NSD

What an asshole! Who writes this shit? He didn't get fired. He went to Abbvie to launch their HCV product. Man, lots of unnecessary hate!

He is 1 lucky SOB, he was about to be fired at AUXL and left just in time. Amazing that no one at Abvie checked his background. It is clearly evident the guy has accomplished little if anything in his career. Just ask some people that worked for him...zero work ethic and even poorer leadership skills.

This is all one person who Mike fired and hates him. He has been gone for 3 years. Move on already. A lot of people are in touch with him, and like and respect him, and thought he did a good job.

Is it true that this incompetent buffoon ended up at Abbvie? If true great place for him given he has no idea how to sell a specialty drug. Is he still talking about all the BS going on in his personal life. Hit the gym bro

Yes, he's at Abbvie. Ironically, he loathed the competition at SMerck while he was here but went and hired at least one of the former Merck managers for the northeast. So much for looking out for his former team. He'll mess it up at Abbvie.

Get your fats straight, while Mike was clearly an over his head duffus here in HCV, I nam sure he has grown to be a capable RSD at Abbvie, 6 years later. LAstly, he has interviewed many Roche HCV folks, and hired multiple; for example Walt Maguire, and there was some other former DM (in another company)turned rep with Genentech. These are two DMs that I know of. There were also several that turned the job down. There are also several reps that took ABBVie jobs, in Mike's region. I also know of another rep that was offered a DM job with mike, but did not accept. These are facts folks, not speculation.

Mike, check you spelling before you hit send. You are better suited as an RD than a NSD. If you did hire a Merck manager, shame on you.

He was protected by Theresa who was not a visionary and who I'd lay a large degree of the blame on for the fact we don't have a future (along with drugs that weren't going to compete with Pharmasett at the time). She orchestrated the Merck agreement which was an abject failure then bolted before the reality of the situation reared its head (of course he was gone by then too).

So a competitor today is an enemy for life? Wow! Mike hired several DMs AND reps from roche; even though several turned him down. If he hired from merck, he is a smart man as clearly the most knowledgeable and experienced reps and DMs were concentrated at roche and merck/schering. You are obviously just joking as no adult could be so silly otherwise.
