Mike Matthews Resigns!

"Too bad you did not realize that this ship is already sunk."

Folks, what you are seeing here is the Contour of chalk on the sidewalk, outlining the body of a business slowly run into the ground by years of mismanagement and incompetency. Simple Win indeed.

Thank you Tom Griffin and brain dead pfizer cronies!

what you are seeing take place is very common when a company is about to be sold - Execs leaving the company. It is very unusual for the company being sold to keep the executive staf in place for very long - some last a few months after the purchase for "transition" purposes, others as in the case, before hand. It depends on alot of reasons, usually the nature of the sale/taakepver , and the value of the executive staff in the eyes of the new owner - in any case it is a real good indicator that BDC is very close to being sold, so get ready. If you are a BDC field rep you need to start getting your resumes out there, as you will be at the most at risk to be negatively impacted by the sale. This is no time for loyalty , it is about survival - yours. Good luck.

It's just like what happened at the end of the war when all the "executives" fled to Argentina.

let's face it MM had been with Bayer for 25 years. Do you think he really wanted to leave Bayer??? He either a)didnt care to go to another company as part of the sale or b)the purchaser had no desire to have him.

You would think the purchaser would want the company to have some stability when they make the sale and would want MM to stay til the deal is done to maintain that stability so I would have to chose option A, If option A is the case it really makes you wonder why he doesnt want to be a part of the new company.

I know my resume is touched up and in the hands of some new companies. Interviews start tomorrow followed by a round of golf. Group meals internal.
