This post is not quite correct. The screwing already took place when the pension change was announced years ago. If you were born after 1964, you were immediately destined to make way less in pension dollars that your older peers with less years of service. The change does not happen in 2019, it happens in 2020. If you don't turn 55 by then end of 2019, you are wasting your time at mother.

If people wait until 2019 to leave because of perceived pension reduction, they are fooling themselves. That reduction happened years ago.

I have my huge lumsum that was earned through hard work. You will have nothing as a result of your lack of self worth and sloth. Good for you!
