Meeting Request

Any thoughts as to the possibility that those tentatively selected will be offered the choice of a position or a severance should they choose that route? The DM's were offered that choice.

DMs were not offered a choice..there were one or two who turned down the offer and they resigned with no severance..
A few older DMs were given the chance to take severance before the whole interview/selection process began..this enabled them to "retire"

Why are people making this so complicated? If you got an email for a conf call in pm you are fine. Per kip those not retained will be personally contacted by their sd first thing in the morning Sorry people are trying to read so much into this. But its really not that confusing.

My advice is to start drinking heavily!

If you are on a conference call you are retained. Those not retained are not given a time to call in for a conference call and are called first thing in the AM by their SD. This was all stated in the conference call with Kip clearly. Quit confusing yourselves !

Not at all true...there are folks who have received emails from their RD with a number to call in the morning...unfortunately those folks are not being retained. The people who have calls later in the day at the same time as others in their division are safe.

So if your call is in the PM then you should be fine according to Kip ? How do people know if they got individual emails? Are their times shorter than the group 30 min calls?

For those with individual requests, was a call in number given or was it implied the will call you?
Yes everyone has a time to call in. All are the same phone number code.(per region) The only dofference is the time. If you have the same time as others in your region you are on the "big" call and you are safe. If no one in ur region has your time you are on an individual call. This is why it specifically states DO NOT call early. They do not want people to listen in on the calls for the not -retained people.

Basically each regional has its own conf call number and will be waiting with HR for individuals to call in...the last call of the day for each region will be the large group call and those people are retained.

PM doesnt matter, it depend on if others are on your call with you. The midwests group call is at 11:45 and thats not pm. There r people in the west with individual calls at 3 and the main call is at 4:15 so pm doesnt mean anything. What matters is if others are on your call. All emails were sent blindly so you have to call around to see what time others in your region have. The west coast people dont even have lenght of call on any of thier emails so obviosuly duration doesnt matter. You just need to be on the last call of the region with a group of people

Not true at all. Everyone got an email today. It just matters if people are on your call with you. If so you are safe.

Where did you get this information? That is not the way we were told things would happen. Those not retained will be contacted in the morning and are not having to wait until the afternoon.

The only thing kip said was that notification calls would begin at 8am Thursday. He said that those not being retained would be notified individually and those being retained would be notified on a group call.

So if your email reads update on project constitution for 30 min in PM does that indicate group call?
I was under the impression you would be contacted by your sd if you were not retained and not receiving invite to conf call.
