You guys are really dumbasses. Medtronic owns more intellectual property than any other company in business today. That does not mean they wont get sued from time to time, but by far they will do most of the suing going forward. Ever heard of gary Michaelson? They bought ALL his patents and he has a TON. Ever heard of Kyphon - they paid 4.2 billion and used CASH. Ever heard of Zimmer, Biomet, Smith & nephew, - they are looking, and capable, of BUYING those companies when and if they want. The only other companies that are bigger , J&J & Stryker. Your pathetic angy tantrum about MSb sucking is laughable. Get back in your Taurus - a fresh batch just came out of the oven at Krispy Kreem.

PP where'd you go? I joined this company and quickly figured out I'd entered a shitstorm. My customers hate Medtronic with a passion, our products are strong, but they aren't new, and there are never answers. I am trying to make a quiet exit, but couldn't have picked a shittier time to do it. Oh well-----Gotta reinvent, maintain, whatever the fuck.
P.S. I'm on my way to a patient event that is 2 hours away which will put me home after 11 tonight. WTF have I gotten myself into.

I'm one of them. I'm in my 20's, and my life has been ruined by chronic pain. After a successful medtronic neurostimulator trial, and months of the medtronic rep calling and harrasing me on if I was going to do the permanent implant, I gave in. I felt confident I was making the right decision based on what my rep told me.
Once I got the permanent one, and started having problems, Medtronic all but abandoned me. Magically my rep bailed, and then another. I'm on my 4th rep, and second painful revision. All the truths come out once you start having problems......"well actually it only works in 25% not 50% of patients not sure who told you that...." blah blah blah.
It would be nice if half the assholes at Medtronic actually gave a shit about the patients instead of making money. Just because you work for pharma or advanced bionics or whoever you aren't any fucking better either.
Those of you who know they are pushing OLD, obsolete products, or are unethical DO SOMETHING!!!!!! Do you want one of your kids, or mothers, or a friend using these??????????

AND I'VE MADE MORE IN FOUR MONTHS IN BONUS THEN I DID ALL YEAR AT PHARMA. YES, I TRANSFERRED FROM PHARMA TO MED. DEVICE. AND YES, I AM A MED DEVICE REP AND AM ON THIS BOARD. LOTS OF WORK.
