Your posts reeks of being a "newbie" to sales. If you want to come here and convince the board, come here with solid, convincing facts that seasoned reps use in their everyday approach with customers. Using two people out of hundreds as an example is amateurish nonsense that doesn't work in offices. There is little to no proof that a ROY means consistent year over year performance at the company. Also, there have been numerous examples of reps winning ROY etc after a territory was left vacant for months and expectations were low.
