Medicare Fraud

Oh my... please get off your ass and leave.

They know exactly why they were let go. The fact that you are too stupid to realize you said it earlier is scary. Using software to change notes idiot. If they can’t figure out that’s firesble and potentially getting them put in jail can’t help you or them. Nobody is losing job if they didn’t sign or use that software

Not yet anyway, you can be sure that if a rep has filled in section B repeatedly they’re going to have some serious explaining to do. If Winnie is able to connect the hand writing or catch it in back and forth faxes you can be sure a rep will be fired. BV cares about one thing, BV. Been that way years, cover your own ass, sit quietly and you’ll be fine.

Not true. There have been reps from the East Central and West that have admittedly been filling out section B and not been fired.

You have nothing to worry about. Carry on. Business as usual.

Some reps were not fired who admitted to section B, some were fired who did not admit to filling out section B. It seemed to me they were trying to make an example two regions and say it was a local issue and they stamped it out. They fired an ASR who was around a few months.

I would we are now going to self report to medicare?

Winnie's "investigation" is a joke. They are pulling CMN's from beginning of reps career to recent. If it is obvious rep filled it out, she asks them if they did. If rep admits doing doing, Winnie takes another bite of her donut and continues to drill them. Smart reps say no. Manager Cory in CA was guilty and is still employed - this despite HR being told by reps he was falsifying Medicare records. GM screwed Z over and is still standing.

You are correct that Biohazard is trying to make this seem like only a small pocket of the US was committing fraud. Winnie is conducting "random" interviews with reps across country. Funny how Kansas City was trained by CA mgr and was "randomly" selected.

The "random" audit is how Winnie is trying to show Biohazard is doing what it should to ensure compliance. If a smart investigator audited Biohazard, she would look at reps with high CONVERSION RATES. Then a review of CMN forms. Another way to uncover/confirm fraudulent activity is calling top prescriber offices and asking how they handle CMN's.

Winnie does not want to find more fraud. It will only cost the company more. They fired those that were obvious and they couldn't deny because of the ASR, protected higher ups and are now trying to show they have things under control.

Fact is...they don't.

This activity has been going on, at a large rate, for at least five years. Look at old CP threads or talk to older reps (Still employed or gone) and you will see how Biohazard has been negligent.

“At least” five years? Idiot. I’ve seen reps getting canned for longer than most reps have been around. It’s a constant issue that comes with greed and fear. How many have left for competitors and now do it, for example Orthofix. These morons sell on not having the office fill out the CMN. Most office staff aren’t around long enough to learn what the questions in section B mean. Or maybe, too stupid. It’s an industry issue not a Bioventus issue. Conduct yourself with integrity and you will succeed. Shred that f’ing “Integrity” book! What a colossal waste of resources.

Only those who do not understand how to sell would recommend shredding the book. Getting an Exogen order because someone sees the box does not make you a talented rep. Go sell something where you actually have to ask questions and understand and you’ll realize the book and program has tremendous merit.
