Amgen already has their team in place and they are out in the field? Have no idea what you are talking about. They started with a CHF drug so they would be ready to take on their newest agent. They are already out and preconditioning their territories.

Regeneron will start interviewing in approximately 3 to 4 weeks
 


















I did hear the main interview is a bitch and very big Pharma which does involving making a sales presentation. At this level as senior sales representatives, I find that to be very insulting. Your record should speak for itself. If they want really good people, they are going about it the wrong way. Most will be completely turned off by this.

I will tell you the DM for NYC has absolutely no sales background. Never held the bag, and never managed sales people. Entire background is in corporate finance and now will be managing sales people. LOL good luck dealing with a guy who never sold a thing, doesn't understand the process, or selling. Clearly he knew the right people who put him in the job as a favour much to a sales person's dismay. Might as well have an accountant managing a sales team

You're such an ass tard. Among other things. God forbid, we want to actually see you in action is some sort of simulation before hiring you and then finding out you.....oh well never mind.
 












The reality is that the managers will be hiring people they know, people that have worked for them before. You can do great in your presentation, but in most cases, the decision has already been made on who will be hired.

Most managers I've known always like to start with a fresh team. Different for Regionals hiring DM's but at the field level they usually take one or two with them but not ever body.

I doubt this...And if it DOES happen, it happens with ANY hiring manager with ANY company not just Regeneron. Most will go by word of mouth and internal recommendations first and if they can't find any quality reps then and only then they tend to go to outside sources such as recruiters.

They have exclusive retained recruiters working on the entire nation. As with any company all internal referrals usually get priority review (meaning they will at least get an interview) but that does not guarantee them a position.

At this level of senior sales, your past sales record and achievements should speak for itself. If a company has to take the time to observe you "detail" as if you are brand new to the industry and ask you big PHARMA questions, you can pretty much figure out what the company culture will be like. If you want to be a puppet and play then go for it. idiot.
 






I have to agree. The things that I am asking to prep for the interview is just plain stupid. i have worked for a handful of bigger pharmaceutical companies and although rigorous in their own right, non have been this bad. You do begin to think that the working environment day to day is going to be managed on such a micro level that it won't even be enjoyable.

Have you been contacted by Regeneron and have an interview date, or are you proactively trying to prep yourself in anticipation of being interviewed by Regeneron?

I am trying to figure out if Regeneron started scheduling interviews for the MSPs. Does anyone know???
