Medical Sales College. Is it for Real?

If 1,000 or 2,000 that didn't get jobs, wouldn't someone other than just yourself be on here? Why would these "thousands" not complain if they attended MSC? According to the BBB, MSC has not a single complaint!

So if MSC or Elite has 200 jobs it is more than the industry? How is it that MedReps has 9,000 open jobs on it right now?

You are a LOSER!

You conveniently keep forgetting to mention the many BBB complaints against AIMS. Jim Rogers ran AIMS just as he runs EliteMed-MSC. Different name, same guy, same process.

If it is the same process...why is it that the Medical Sales College is ran so much better? You appear to be focusing on AIMS from 2009 when since 2010 the Medical Sales College is perfect. People attend the Medical Sales College not AIMS and have been for two years without any complaints . Is it because so many people are getting jobs post the Medical Sales College?

So all the grads with AIMS certificates basically got screwed. What happens when MSC changes names again?

No, 80% got jobs. Is that what you call screwed?
The other 20% all got the same education. 8 weeks of world class education to be exact. It worked to get my job!

Why would MSC change it's name? It's a licensed college now! Has been for two years!!

Where exactly do you work? Oh right, you work at or own EliteMed-MSC. My guess is you're either Jim, Scott or Shannon.

Stop lying to people.

I thought it was 81%? Regardless, can you share with us how the 80% figure was calculated? I think the people writing against your school are right, that you simply make up numbers.

I don't believe that 80% of all the people who attended AIMS/MSC got jobs at medical device companies, let alone through you. Home health care stores and distributorships don't count, especially ones affiliated with your program(s). I'm talking factory direct jobs with companies like Stryker, Zimmer, Depuy, etc. that work only with hospitals, surgery centers and clinics.

Hey moron! It is apparent you do not know anything about the business. Companies like Depuy, Zimmer, etc sell through distributors. They have large sales teams who are very successful. I know you like to believe the students who get jobs with distributors don't count as a placement but they do.

I started with a distributor for a large player, who had me form a corporation in order to contract with them as a 1099. I'm just saying that anyone can start a distributorship or medical device LLC, S-Corp, C-Corp, etc.

For all we know, these EliteMed-MSC people did just that, just so they can temporarily sign on MSC grads and claim them as placements. Stryker, by the way, does factory direct.

Sure, anyone can start a distributorship but not everyone can be successful without proper training.

How are they ripping people off? You mean recruiters? The fact the school produces a much higher caliber selling professional that is trained and then hired by the leading manufactures at no cost!!!

It is amazing that anyone would even waste time reading your daily agenda blog! You cry "fake jobs" yet you have zero proof of that. You cry "fake testimonials" yet each testimonial has hundred of pages that have the students names with links to their email addresses. These same people "HUNDREDS" can be found on social network sites such as Linkedin and Facebook all employed with some of the very best in the industry. Your response, they too are fake!! Yea, like a licensed school has the ability to fake Linkedin with hundreds of profiles that are connected to thousands of other fake people!! On top of that, they "MSC" are presenting at national sales meetings, in national publications and YES, the have ZERO complaints filled against them outside of YOU on here and Ripoff report. Just your ripoff report alone is a perfect example. You submit one report (admitting you were not a student - recruiter perhaps?) and then you use your fake name "Steve" 26 times on the same report!!!

In the end it really doesn't matter, MSC will continue doing what they do best... placing students into medical device jobs... they do it every day!!!

Some examples:

1) Fake testimonials- the post above refers to EliteMed-MSC as "they," as if its author does not own or work for them. Based on writing style and covered content, it is obvious he or she does, therefore the post above is an example of a fake pro-MSC testimonial.

2) Many complaints against program, not just from one guy-
http://www.bbb.org/denver/business-...ute-of-medical-sales-in-englewood-co-90110812

3) Fake job ads-
Just today, EliteMed lists 116 open positions on Career Builder. Yet when EliteMed "recruiters" call jobseekers who forwarded resumes, all 116 advertised job "were already filled by more qualified candidates, and that one could increase his or her candidacy for future jobs by enrolling in MSC." This is a reinvented version of the classic modeling school scam, where "anyone can be a model" provided one buys a very expensive modeling school certificate.

4) Fake promises-
They claim 80+% of MSC grads ultimately get placed in medical sales, yet they refuse to disclose how they calculated this figure. Is it based on their first class, or all students ever enrolled? Is it based on MSC valedictorians or all students? We will never know.

5) MSC is licensed, so cannot be a scam-
Bernie Madoff was also government licensed, so MSC's "licensed as proof of legitimacy" argument is false and misleading.

6) Constantly changing entity names-
3 different names for their recruiting arm and 2 for their school, all in a short timeframe. Will an MSC certificate mean anything once MSC changes its name again?

RESPONSE:

The Medical Sales College has NEVER changed their name. The concept was taken from a previous education company for medical sales (the American Institute of Medical Sales or AIMS) and was formed as a licensed college in 2010. The original team from AIMS is not part of the Medical Sales College, nor is the ownership and financial group. In fact, only 1 of 11 owners of the Medical Sales College had any affiliation with the former company. Obviously, with a resounding majority of all of the graduates from AIMS placed, the concept was brilliant.

RESPONSE:

This statement would be similar to saying that every education entity therefore could be a scam. The difference with LICENSED education and your example of Bernie Madoff is that licensed educational institutions must provide bonding to protect students. It is impossible to “scam” a student out of money because if such an example existed, the student would have full access with the state department for a refund of his/her tuition.

Since the inception of the Medical Sales College, no such request has ever been filed or requested, with the state or any other agency.

RESPONSE:

Our published data includes all graduates from the Medical Sales College since inception through the end of 2011. This data is collected per regulations and is provided the State of Colorado Private Occupational School Board, Department of Higher Education for auditing.
According to the gainful employment law enforced through the U.S. Department of Education (http://www.ed.gov/news/press-releases/gainful-employment-regulations), all for-profit institutions will be mandated to publish required data no later than July 1, 2012.

Data must include: total program costs, graduations rates, post education employment rates, debt-to-earnings ratio and other critical information to help students better choose the gainful employment program that’s right for them.

In accordance with this upcoming regulation, the Medical Sales College has elected to provide the information prior to the July 1, 2012 date. Our placement data is based on all Medical Sales College graduates that have completed their eight-week courses prior to December 31, 2011. Full data can be found on our website (see the Gainful Employment section).

We are very happy to provide results and although many of our graduates from 2011 are still in the interviewing process, our overall job placement rate is 70.58%. Obviously, we will change the rate as many more of our more recent graduates are placed into the field of medical sales. In addition, our overall student interview rate (for medical sales positions) for the same timeframe is well over 90%! That data is being finalized and audited for release…

RESPONSE:

This, like every daily post from you, is utterly incorrect.

First of all, how would you know that all 116 advertised jobs were already filled? Did you speak with a recruiter for all of the jobs? If a person who has submitted a resume is NOT QUALIFIED on the basis of qualifications required in the posting, EliteMed offers THREE solutions to help direct those who desire to become a medical sales rep. ONE of those solutions is the Medical Sales College. Furthermore, all of the jobs posted have a job sheet that is filled out from a recruiter that EliteMed keeps on hand for auditing purposes. I can guarantee you that EliteMed has not nor will post a “fake” job.
