Still don’t get why we’re waiting on FDA if decision in CRL said not approved. Can the FDA shorten the requirement for the additional trial requested? I mean, Takeda has to know it’s at least 16-18 months on the short end best case. What are we really waiting on? Come on, be honest!

Can’t, it’s doomed. Shire ultimately effed this up and no turning back.

Full cost of MED field sales is already on the books through March 31.
Sample production was halted on FDA news, remaining samples are being divided up.
No "updates" from the FDA will change Takeda's decision on layoffs.

Decisions are already made. Just because they aren’t letting us know doesn’t mean they don’t know. Contingency plans are set months or a year ago. Script is already written, it’s just a matter of which script they pick.

Not true Sparky. They were planning for training in January, classes were set. If layoffs are coming they did a very fast about face

Nope, previous poster is correct. Months ago Takeda decided what to do if the FDA failed to approve. It now looks very much like the decision was to proceed with layoffs on March 31st, year end. A big tell was the fact that they said NOTHING on the call last Friday or before then for that matter, to the effect of "your jobs are safe", stay focused and just go sell, even though we only have Motegrity for now, we have plans to keep everyone because we need this organization going forward. If they made that decision, we would have heard the all clear by now to remove any and all distractions that get in the way of focusing on selling Motegrity. The silence was very telling.
