Reps get credit for accounts for only 1 year then all credit goes to the company only. Not sure how it's done now, but it used to be account managers had to pay $500 for each account that left. Had to list mdl on my auto insurance. Used to get $250 a month in gas. Dumbest thing I ever witnessed. Most reps just stopped going out after they spent the $250. Had to pay out of pocket if you bought lunch for more than 10 people. Ok. Reps just didn't list anyone after 10. Seriously..........somebody anybody tell me just one other company that does things like this. This doesn't take into account all the back stabbing, talking behind backs, making things up about somebody. Unprofessional and most immature environment anywhere. ALL of this goes back to vt. She has single handedly destroyed this company. There are far too many other examples to list. unfortunately, this seems to be the case. as more time goes by the more negative mdl's reputation becomes. Most recruiters ( not all ) when they see you worked at mdl won't read any further. your resume just got placed on the top of the trash heap. More importantly, most recruiters know of VT. Over the course of 15 years think of how many enemies in the lab industry vt has made. i would say 60 - 70% of the reps currently at mdl are looking and engaging in interviews. i would love for someone to argue how mdl is a great place to work and and great place to further your career. provide examples. give numbers. how much is mdl doing a year now?
