MDL folks should not be on here bragging for sure! Their pay is one third of lab standards and sales even has to pony up for the insurance on your car for THEIR business! They keep talking about formal training. I have been here over a year and NO formal anything. They do provide a sorority Snapchat in case you have a question that is answered by someone with less training than you. Sounds like a sham. I thought it would be a good stepping stone but so far, crickets! Management comes from copier companies and brew houses with all of 6 months in the field. They act like you are so lucky to be here but stocking at WalMart actually nets more w/o the bs!

Their salary is 50k with a 90 day waiting period for car and insurance. They pay between $2.00 - $5.00 per specimen. If you are an absolute superstar you could make 100k. Most do not make 60k.

After 1 year, whatever business you had, is taken away and made a house account. These are not uncapped commissions and this is the reason that they have such little growth. Ownership really needs to hire a true sales president who has the ability to hire capable reps and pay.
 






After one year I have realized that I can make more money stocking shelves for a national food company at Walmart WITH IMMEDIATE FULL BENEFITS! Now they are taking my accounts away as base accounts, I.e. you get no more commission. Sorry, tired of being suckered by PseudoLab!

VT comes up with these policies and EM smiles and thinks it's genius. Somebody came on here and said mdl is going out of business. Went on saying mdl lost their largest insurance United.What exactly does that mean? Why they lose it? Will this hurt them? 50k? They were paying that 15 years ago. So, after 15 years their base has not increased. Adjusted for inflation it's like the reps are actually getting paid 37k today.
