Keep rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic if that gives you comfort. News Flash! This industry is dying if not already dead. Our healthcare system has morphed into one giant overly beuracrtized half socialist/half free market cluster f@ck while the BI brainiacs spend their time performing feats of mental masturbation by pretending that slapping a new marketing catchphrase like “ go to market” or recycling some worn out messaging/ questioning flow chart is the answer to all our ills. When the managed care high school dropout on the phone has more power to dictate what gets prescibed than the physician with multiple degrees you’ve got big problems. Paying high salaries for reps to drop samples and feed despondent and overweight practices with another load from Olive Garden cant last forever, not to mention the overpaid and all important micromanaging TBM critiquing selling styles while planning another impactful teleconference or POA meeting. The inevitable layoffs shouldn’t come as a shock, what’s shocking is that this still comes as a surprise to those next on the chopping block
