List the worst managers ever.

bunch of whiners. Lilly sales is super easy. Just do the bare minimum, stay quiet and nod your head. Easy as pie. Having said that, most of the OBU managers and a good chunk of dbu could go.

So would you all say Lily in general is a micromanaging company and culture??

Interviewed for the new Migraine launch for PCPs but I'd hate to leave my current job with an OK manager to a micromanaging manager at Lily.

Haven't met DM yet since they haven't hired them yet but after reading this thread, makes me second think if Lily is a good move or not.

Does Lily encourage micromanaging from their DM's or would a rep be good as long as they do their job?

Thanks for all serious inputs.

Yes. Be prepared to be held accountable for every target and every interaction you have. You will be in launch mode and if it can be tracked, it will be. Top Sales results and quick uptake will be expected so if you can’t handle being closely managed while calling on primary care providers who traditionally do not write biologics, this may not be a good match for you.

So true!!! Old farts like jim Anderson who retired thank god put stank as a rep on every frickin meeting. We ALL hated his tired ass. Stay retired in Fla you POS

Wow! I have not heard that name for a long time. God only knows why Jim Anderson hung in there that long. He was just a pain in the ass all the way around. Never knew when to just shut the hell up and let things be. I remember once he was locked out of district meeting room during a regional meeting. I thought that would have been the final nail in his sales coffin, but I’ll be dammed if he didn’t somehow survive that too!

Had a manager who asked me, a week after a district meeting ," why @meeting did I spend a long time in the bathroom? " (I was sick) He said the other district members were upset and wanted to know why they had to work while I was in the bathroom ! D.Wolfe in florida. Anyone top this B. S.?

Never worked for Doug W, but I have known folks who did. Many have left or got the hell out of his intense Micro-Management if they could. I once was told by another DSM that Doug was considered a “Lone Wolf” type (Pun intended) and that very little respect was ever giving to him in those circles.
