I'd like to say GG but really I think both sides have their good and not as good managers. There are some managers on the GG side with loads of experience who are well liked by those who work for them and those they work for. There seemed to be a few managers from the LC side that everyone loved also.

Of course we are. Why the hell would we want to work in this, less then fostering, environment. Day after day, is just a reminder of what it was like to work at GG and what it is NOT to work at Lab Corp. Let's start from the top, bad health care, ridiculous cell phone reimbursement, crap 401K match, less vacation, $100 a month for car taxes, and the list goes on and on.

Senior Management- when your upper crust leave its all over and those people will never be replaced. No top talent would elect to work for Lab Corp, we were just sold and bought and completely held hostage to sign a non complete. Our stay bonuses were held over our heads if we didn't sign. Do the right thing and make this negative situation better and fast!
 






Sales management stinks in Georgia. The Sales Officer especially! Not sure what is going on but it stinks and not a bit of good has come out of this team of crap! It is basically crap and nothing will change until it is extinguished.
 






The one that threw a party in his room at the NSM and almost got kicked out of the hotel, he is pure class, all 3rd of course. He was in a leadership position with USL? No wonder we run the show now. LCA will run us all off, most will be gone by years end.

We can only hope that most of "them" will be gone. Why not include all the rest of the "partyer's who were too hung over to even come to the meetings. They WERE in leadership positions until MM demoted them. Way to go MM, now just go a little further a RIF them.
 






MM needs to RIF ALL the USLabs manager who were retained. They are driving off top GG reps. The NSM was a joke. Half the USLabs people were hungover in the morning and didn't even attend sessions (including one BDE from TX).

Who was almost kicked out of the hotel? Jeff or Trey? Didn't hear that but doesn't surprise me. GG people - get out while you can!

Heard it was Jeff- can take the man out of the rent a car business but can't take the rent a car business out of the man.
 






You shouldn’t act surprised, Uslabs has been partying at every meeting, nation and regional shows since they were bought by LabCorp. I bet the bar tab was higher than the hotel stays, they should audit every expense from the past years and see what was spent where and on whom. Why do you think their numbers have dropped over the years, while they were partying at trade shows the competition was stealing their business right in front of them. They come back from shows telling everyone they have millions of new business committed to but what were the real numbers when you subtract the lost business?
Hey everyone we have 10 million committed to in new businesses but pay no attention to the 40 million we lost.
GG is in charge, guess uslabs managers are mad for the demotions and the way GG is running the show. Both companies run about the same test, but why would labcorp buy another Heme company? Guess uslabs was a total joke of incompetent people running the show and had to buy a company where management has lab experience and knows what they are doing.

Problem is GG Pathologists and Lab management have all went out their resumes. Also several have already left. USLABS was not a joke until LABCRAP bought them.

Another issue that these box labs have is that they sign these managed care contracts. These contracts are usually a money loser. They just want the voulme.

Jeff, TR would never be that irresponsible. He leads his team well, is smart, WELL LIKED and RESPECTED. That is a trait they do NOT share.

You mention USLabs was not a joke until LabCorp bought the, think again the people in charge of USLabs took over Dianon from the get go and lost most of the Dianon AP business in 1 year since their focus was only on Heme and USLabs programs only and let Dianon fend for themselves. Leadership was the most ridiculous thing going in the lab business when USLabs took over. There were people in charge of USLabs that did not know anything about the lab industry since it was all new to them. They promoted some of the lowest ranking reps to managers, and still remain there, and look at where that got them, big time lost revenue. When USLabs finally did fail they took the main person there and moved him to NC. At the NSM last year Dianon people were told one thing about ProVation by upper management and how it could help Dianon then 1 month later ProVation was only working with USLabs. I guess USLabs management wanted to create their own good old boys club, but that will not work now since GG is in charge and they are seeing right through you.

How many millions did you loose or fall short on budget over the past 4 years? We always hear how we took on millions of new business while hiding the fact we lost 4x that amount.

Good reps and managers that were worth something went to other companies and took the business with them.
 












What is so funny is all these post talk about how crappy USL is. How they never hit budget and they don't know what they are doing.

The funny thing is that USL was light years ahead of GG oncology. The oncology division has taken three steps back in the market in the last 2 months.

The truth is LCA bought GG for one reason and one reason only, REPRODUCTIVE. The repro side has carried the oncology divisions ass for the last several years.

Keep talking all your sh** about USL and lca. The joke is on you not lca, not USL.
