NEST is probably on chopping block. Rumor was that Kiersten Combs fought to save NEST last year and told Ruud they were needed. Now that she’s moved on they don’t have anyone to fight for them.
If any team gets downsized it will be the Rental team . Nest can easily pick up Lokelma and continue with Farxiga, BI need to keep the Renal reps without Roxa

There are a crap ton of reps selling Farxiga. Too many and a Crowded marketplace to begin with
Will layoffs happen? Of course. When? Who knows? If history is a guide it will be in December. Anyone with a months experience in this industry and company knows we have a bloated sales force. We work in an outdated model that preaches frequency and reach. That's nice but more than 60% of doctors do not see reps. Most hospital systems closed to reps. Medical schools teaching future doctors that pharma is plain evil. Who knows what the current liberal administration will do to pharma. Whatever they do won't be good for us. The public hates us. The media hates us. Most calls faked. Tremendous amounts of money spent on lunches for no significant return. A huge percentage of calls reported by reps are not made. "The all day lie" practiced by a significant portion of the sales force. Cutting days short are common with reps as well as DM's. It goes on and on. None of it good for us. I find it so laughable when people leave AZ due to layoffs they try to go to work for another pharma company to face the same bullshit over and over. Well I've said this before on here and I'll say it again...if you want to protect yourself when the day comes when the shit hits the fan start a business on the side and grow it on AZ's time. I'm doing it and it's doing well. One other thing....so many backstabbers in this company tell NOONE about your side gig.
Yeh, renal can b easily rolled under nest team. I heard they all got paid for doing not much while waiting for Lokelma after zS and AZ. Made a bunch of money in stock and renal doesn’t do big pharma AZ. Just b/c your dM tell u it’s ok, stay positive, consider the source. We should all b aware - renal hospital team for one product, no access, renal reps but can’t go in to dialysys - neph offices that r more interested in Farxiga than Lokelma. Logical to give Lokelma to nest. If Roxe comes 3 years down the road, AZ can figure it out then, But Akebia is pretty far ahead at that point.

You’re an idiot. If anyone needs to go, it’s Nest. That makes the most business sense. Farxiga is a renal product now and the Renal team are the only ones with relationships in nephrology. Renal should continue with Lokelma and farxiga, then pickup the Endos as well. All I hear from the Nest people is they have no access in endo anymore, I know they have none in nephrology, sooo what do they bring to the table other than dead weight?
