The only pearl you are worth sharing with is that the best paying jobs are all corporate, and corporate is not selling.

Best sales people in the world own their own business, no doubt about that.

Stay in corporate buddy, that is where you belong, because you can't even admit this to yourself. The early in your life that you can see it, the better you will be able to accept the nonsense of corporate and do what everyon else does: jockey for a promotion into managment so you can work less and make more.

The only "pearl" in this job is that we got sucked into a terrible situation, and were naive to take these jobs.
 






Couple days ago, I worked with my manager. It has become very clear to me they/we are all under huge pressure. Twice during the day, she interjected herself into my discussions in ways that shocked me. Not just that she interjected, but the complete- unsubstantiated bullshit that came out of her mouth! She was throwing shit out there about Zorvolex we have absolutely zero clinically approved data on. It's time to leave before we all end up talking with the FDA. The panic has begun I am afraid.

It most definitely is true. As far as reporting her- yeah, didn't quite capture this on tape Captain Obvious. You can bet I'm alert to it now and the important takeaway is why she would feel the need to compromise herself and me like this. You know the answer to this and so do I. Believe what you wish, I could give two shits...really not even one shit!
 






If you are smart and know what you are doing (takes experience and saavy to do this, so you newbies with less than 5 years of experience in selling are not going to get it), you can move this product by being honest and agressive. Its not complicated. Sure, you are going to step on some toes, but who cares? The point in selling is not to get everyone to like you, but to get enough people to like you so you are taking care of their business and getting results for YOU, and then the company you are working for. Just my 2 cents, and I don't care who agrees with this, because I know I am correct.

And we have our kiss ass. Yes, keep being aggressive and continue to make the offices hate you because when you're LONG GONE after the company fails, I'm sure you'll have great access and numbers on your next job-wait the probability of you obtaining another 1 is zero to none.

Well, you would assume that if the rep was aggressive (yes, you can be aggressive but not rude, but you didn't get that memo...because you have been doing this for about 1 year? or 2?), they have good results. So, another company would pick them up, easily.

The "kiss ass" that posted must be in the home office or is desperate for a job. Kiss ass where are you from? What was your "bonus", if any and how long have you been selling pharmaceutical products?
