Launch Results

I sold Zipsor at Depomed and the dosing is 25 mg up to 4 times a day. How are you saying it is the "lowest dose diclofenac" when the choices for your product are 18 mg or 35 mg 3 times a day? I did extremely well with Zipsor in my territory, but all of these diclofenacs are a joke. They work well, but are not worth the increased cost. And, even now I think Zipsor only costs $20. When I sold it, you could get 120 capsules for as low as $35.

This is a dog with fleas, I agree. But it is simple math, 18 mg times 3 is 54mg/day and 35 mg 3 times per day is 105mg. Clearly the 18 mg 3 times per day is the lowest possible dose as Zipsor is 4 time a day, not up to 4 times a day in the labeling. In either case, Dogvolex has not been tested against generic diclofenac so it creates a high bar with my customers to get them to use this before a generic.

I'm also not sure what you would call extremely well, it was pretty much a dog that didn't sell very well. I don't think they ever broke $25 million i sales. But you are correct, that all of these products are a joke.

Correct, the label says 4 times a day. And, "well" was generally 25 to 45 scripts weekly. Either way, I wish you all luck.

No problems here. My customers are responding well so far. They say they're writing. They're using up my samples. I've been if the office when a patient has been given a script. So, cautiously optimistic.

The reason this job/company will fail is b/c Iroko doesnt have the guts/fortitude to hire their "own" sales force. How is that for a lack of confidence in a TID dosed NSAID? In addition, instead of hiring reps with rapport and relationships with key writers that was cultivated with years of selling to them, they hire young "copier" reps at $50,000 @ year. Yes Mr Manager who interviewed me, you clearly stated this job is a gamble b/c if you dont have a successful launch, Iroko can forget about having the ability/cash on hand to launch the expected "has been" products this Spring! Your strategy is equivalent to entering a 3 legged horse in the Kentucky Derby, the horse can win provided the other 12 horses default or have a major heart attack during the race. Cheaply paid contract reps into todays pharma world where reps will start for 65 - 75K with a reputable pharma company, will never, ever achieve launch expectations, at no fault of their own! Shame on Iroko Management!

Iroko management = GSK losers

I start at a diner and talk for 1 1/2 hours, then I call on a few doctors I've seen for 20 years, then Starbucks, I then go to the local doc-in-a-box who grants access, then lunch. The DM then starts to get tired. Then I purposely get shut out of a few offices so I can complain how tough it is. One more call to a friend and by 3:30 the DM is ready to go home.

I'm sorry for you. You are lacking passion at even a basic level... We all face challenges- difference is, you have just given up and rolled over. Every call is a chance to do something ! This ain't kool-aid....just the truth.

No, I was writing about what I do when I ride along with my DM as questioner asked. If I were to take my DM on a normal day, he would see how much doors are being slammed in my face.

Man!! This sure is a negative message board...I have had great success so far. The Doctors get the message and have been writing plenty...no problems at the pharmacy end either...great results with coverage and price as well....lowest price branded NSAID in the market!! Several Doctors have written for 10-15 days and patients gladly paid cash with copay assistance....can't figure out what all the negative hype is about.

This was written by a DM. Silly, you.

Lowest price branded NSAID in the market? Vimovo $0 copay for a year, Celebrex $15 copay do I need to list more how about Duexis $20 copay and Zipsor $20 copay. Zorvolex copay $25. How can you say lowest? We have the highest copay in the market. How did we hire such dumb a$$es?
