To this sad underling; it must be nice to be clueless and enjoying rose colored glasses. You obviously are a low to moderate performer or you would have been granted stock options and RSUs that are now either worthless or virtually worthless-my day to day hasn’t changed. And neither has your equity.
Guess you don’t see/feel the impact of the multiple firings going back to the ODAC days and continuing. Must be nice to live in a cocoon and not know anybody who was fired. Obviously you can’t go anywhere cause you are still in Dante’s Inferno with all the other devils. So keep kidding yourself about how great your culture is-that is such fool speak.
Well, i guess you don't have a fall back career as a criminologist since your assumptions are inaccurate on my performance, and everything else. Nice try though.
We all have shares underwater...what's your point? Oh, when you joined KPharm did you really think we were going to be bought out for a big number quickly? How sweet go you! First start up I presume? Guessing you never made any real money via a buyout in this business...perhaps that is why you are so bitter?
When did I say the culture was great? Reading comprehension not your thing? I said ones RBD has a great deal of influence on ones happiness/unhappiness at a company and that there are local/regional cultures that differ from the umbrella of the corporate culture. Might I suggest subscribing to HBR as they have been researching and writing articles on this topic for decades.
Do the firings suck for those who got fired? Of course. However the impact to the field was limited so to answering your question it has little effect on my day to day. Why would a CNE or a compliance person miles away that I barely knew affect me and my day to day? This is a job, it's not my life...sounds like you are a bit consumed with it.
ODAC? How many years ago was that? Thats stuck in your craw? Wow, you really hang on to things. Oh and we got the approval from that ODAC so what's your point? Again, I ask first start up and/or new to hem/onc?
Can't go anywhere? I have turned down offers from other companies that seemed to be in a similar position to KPharm, so why leave, especially if my manager treats me well? I can wait to see this through and if we run ourt of money and fail miserably, I'll be fine and will find a job, either way I am not concerned. I posted a list of companies on this same thread, so I don't want to be redundant, but there just hasn't been anything great to jump to. Take look at the places people jumped to...nothing big has happened at any of them.
Which leads me to you, speaking of the insecure and overdramatic...you fall into one of two categories...either you are 'stuck' here with the rest of us and are bitter because of it, or you left and you can't seem to let it go and move on. Either way paints you as a complete loser, a dramatic one at that.
