karuna deal

All this disease state knowledge that they have us doing in the field now is a bunch of BS. The high level micro mgmt has already began.
What about access? Our launches suck because our lack of access and speciality pharmacy coverage, and the truth of it, have NO PLAN accept to WAIT until we magically have coverage, huh? Then you just blame the field, and not the leaders. Get on this early, don't take no for an answer. It is true, they have no idea what they are doing, shockingly so.

They are just getting warmed up, having been with BMS for more than a few years we are all in for a real treat! You will become a walking zombie needing Prozac in about 3 months- mark my words.

Just look at the dumb ass RBMs that were hired. They were hired for a purpose. Strictly to be mindless KPI enforcers. No innovation whatsoever only here to pull through the big Pharma marching orders to the field.

The head of sales just quit. What does she know about this ma$$ive turd that we aren't told in interviews??!?
LOL, no. She was one of the initial Karuna people. She realized a huge equity win from the buyout and is set for life. The 14 billion dollar buyout made her and any of the original Karuna people very wealthy.

100%. The 1 billion year 1 forecast won’t even scratch the surface for what the company will need. BMS spent 15 billion for this dog. They hired a bunch of non innovative rethread big Pharma box checkers to push metrics out the wazoo. This Titantic will sink before it even hits the sea.
Hmm, considering that they have not released the expectations for year one yet, you seem to be already spewing lies. Are you bitter that you didn't make it through the process?

Over 25 years in the biz with 15+ in psych including 4 antipsychotics and 10+ launches. They passed on me.

At least you all can giggle and tell stories at the bar during launch training.

That should prove useful.
Just because you have "25 years in the business with 15+ in psych, including four antipsychotics," doesn't mean you were the best candidate, and it also doesn't mean you are not a great candidate. With that type of experience, you most likely got the invite for the interview because of it, but somewhere in the process, you were beaten out. However, these positions were highly competitive, so perhaps you had a bad day at the interviews, and your competition was a better fit. It happened to me...I am solid at the same experience level on paper, and a few Pclub wins are scattered throughout my history. I just found out who got the position I was going for, and they are fantastic, so they had several great candidates to choose from. Happens, so on to the next opportunity.

They're forecasting over a billion in US sales in Year 1

You don't understand how much they are relying on this drug to paper over all of the poor decision making over the last few years

You guys who joined this place coming from stable, good jobs are so screwed lol
BMS paid 14.5 billion to purchase the drug so our goals will be through the roof and we’ll be under the gun for scrips, no doubt. At over 14 billion acquisition costs, I don’t think BMS will want to patiently wait around for 15 years to recoup that money.

Lmao are you wearing knee pads while going through this brown-nosing routine?

BMS is a mismanaged disaster of epic proportions and brown-nosers like you are disgusting. Get a life.

Truth, I’m sure the person who posted that crap was one of these loser new RBMs that were hired to bend over for the company.

Lame spin tactic all the way around right there Pal. It does not take a mathematician to figure out that the goals year 1 will be through the roof. For you to suggest otherwise shows that you are a delusional fool.

Are you dumb, or just a typical BMS employee?

Just because you are unaware, it means others in the org. don't know?

The number is over a billion in the first year. This is going to be a mess and the expectations are delusional. If you choose to ignore the writing on the wall because it makes you feel uncomfortable, well I don't know what the hell to tell you.

lots of the managers and reps who took these jobs were desperate for a job. I get it it’s worth the risk when in that situation. However, dont Have any illusions Of this place being anything but big Pharma with high amounts of micro mgmt.
