JH "a proven, inspiring leader"







at merck a few oncology reps had transferred years early in their careers from manufacturing. They remembered JH when he was a shop floor engineer. He was in marketing for 1 year on the keytruda team where he was despised by all especially prashant who fired his arrogant ass. Story goes when he worked in MMD he wanted to take over as plant manager but got transferred after starting a fire that almost blew up a line. Almost 20 years later we see flames all around this business suppose to be the companys future... some guys are gifted with ability to fool anyone over a long period of time. common symptom of the "shooting star" always pursuing the next promotion until he gets fired and goes somewhere else to do the same :oops:
 






Wow. I spent the weekend reading this one and glad Im not alone. When I was in field with JH ( won't say when or where) I lined up my top KOLs. It was a total embarrassment. JH couldn't handle basic product q's. He tried telling jokes to wiggle his way out. TBH had to save him at least twice while he spoke over me and one of my top oncs. He changed subject by clinical pipeline messaging. For our day together wrap-up he asked about my "career wishes" (literally what he said - strange way to put it). I told him i'm happy with what i'm doing. He said there could be "great rewards" either way (felt creepy). The guy on the one hand seems very insecure. Doesn't know shit about the product. Baffles me cuz he seems smart but maybe in the wrong way I told him I'm concerned that we can't pull our weitght nationally, or we barely hit target. I asked what Len-george thought of our sales performance. He said "those 2 always play good & bad cops with me." He then said that Len is the good cop and then said "Len keeps eating out of my hand and so long this happens George can't touch us" Was the craziest shit I ever heard! Honestly, I think JH is delusional and your comments confirm. I would feel so much better about that if not for fact I know some of us left really good companies for oncology. Regeneron is not that and if we knew commercial or marketing strategy is not our strong suit, why the hell put JH is this job? Don't want to be Debbie Downer but the outside world doesn't believe what we stand for and keeps us pegged in the CSCC space. Are Merck and BMS that good or are we just losers?
 






When will they learn that you can’t run an oncology / hematology franchise like primary care? Years ago when I interviewed , the pipeline looked promising and they talked a good talk but I never could have imagined how they could screw up a franchise this bad. I left a really good company to come here and it was a mistake. All they are worried about is reach and frequency and that really works, right ?
 






a lot of us feel this way Glad to take the paycheck but wish we stood for something real. We aren't the losers, we are working for a loser. If JH was already a loser at Merck he became even worse here just fooled regeneron into making him the head honcho. What a joke!
 






Team, a few of us worked at AZ back in the day. MM was fired too. Regeneron has a way of picking up industry scraps for the top commercial jobs here. This is a problem and tbh no one wants to recognize it
 


















I have held this one to myself. Nearly 3 years ago JH virtual met with the Iowa team. His first comment is an idiotic joke about Jami Rubin, a banker Regeneron deals with. He says Iowa is 'not any old fly over state' since he thought Jami was from a 'typical New York City Jewish family.' Then says he 'learned she was born and raised in Iowa. I was surprised since I didn't think jews lived in there.' Stupid. Offensive. Insulting. We are unshakable and forever enduring, the scepter of the wicked will not prevail.
 






yo everyone, it's time to cease and desist. We need to go out and meet with customers to prove we have a great product. The PD-1 class will be over $50 Billion (yes, capital B) this year. We are barely getting to $1B. We have a damn good product. We have not come close to our potential Think about all the products we worked on at whatever last company you were at. Keytruda, Opdivo, Tagrisso, Imfinzi, Enhertu, Tecentriq, Darzalex, to name a few our team has worked on. All major blockbusters We need to bring this product to its glory regardless of whether we have a bad, out of place leader and inferior marketing. The more we focus on bad leadership, the more we fall behind.

Hello Iowa. You have got to be shitting me. Did you report to HR? There's no room for leaders offending faith and religious beliefs. Even if meant as a joke this is bad leadership

happy friday. We have a few of our people and leader problems but dupi continues to blow it out. Def would rather be on this side and maybe someday the company will be straight up immunology, derm and resp. we will never be serious in oncology

It is past time for the leaders - and I say that lightly to get out of these ( not all RBD’s) accounts with the reps
and do admin or something. When you go in an office with a RBD for a regular call , it does not fare well. Most MD’s are not going to come back if they know a manager is there. It looks so primary care and the offices don’t like it. More times than not , my RBD couldn’t have a clinical conversation if their lives depended on it and they truly think that they are there to coach. What a joke.
 






seems that not everyone taking this very seriously, even though there are serious topics being discussed. I am going to exit out of this chat. My only comment is I wish Regeneron would begin to realize the importance of strong commercial leadership. We are heading down the wrong path with who we have in place today. It is possible we have leaders of low character that has done a poor job in leading a business which appears to be non-relevant based on performance.
 






Has anyone noticed the stock price has gone done like 15% in the last 30 days? Anyone have a good answer as to why? Does sales performance with Libtayo and Eylea HD have anything to do with it?
