It’s not just JH , most managers in charge came from big pharma and don’t have a clue how to work in biotech. Stay out of the accounts and let reps handle the accounts. They know best. Accounts don’t want to see 3 or 4 people from Regeneron in the offices. They want 2 points of contact. Rep and reimbursement specialist. That’s it. They don’t want rep triggered emails filling up their feeds and they don’t want to go out with key account managers for dinner who are just racking up points for personal trips with their travel. Most of us are interviewing to get out. Several hematology reps took the job to have something until something better came a long. We were all hopeful that this division would be successful. Not going to happen until egos get out of the way and reps are allowed to do what they do best.
Regeneron has absolutely zero respect for reps. In meetings , they have the managers present what happened in the account instead of the rep that made it happen. Someone always trying to impress. The reps are not happy. Give credit where credit is due. I’m looking and I know most of my team is , as well. Too experienced for primary care.
