J&J Vaccine Mandate

Based on the return to work app, in our building we had approx 70% self reporting as fully vaxxed. It'll probably be up to 90% with the mandate and the other 10% replaced.

I'm curious how they will handle medical and religious exemptions. AskGS is probably flooded right now with requests.

the only problem is it takes JNJ about 4 months to hire someone and the job market is crazy good right now. So my bet is JNJ is not getting 2nd or 3rd rate talent to replace the top talent in positions they eliminated due to BAX requirements. JNJ is flushing itself down the toilet

You're right! Your coworkers don't give a shit about you either because its clear that you don't care about spreading the virus to them.
So me, unvaccinated is risky to my vaccinated coworkers..how? Is it because the vaccines are so effective? Or that you are a such a follower who is unable of actually questioning authority!

Yea genius, you stated it pretty well. You, being unvaccinated can spread it to a vaccinated person and the vaccine is very effective at preventing their hospitization but not 100% effective. Or, you spread it to a vaccinated coworker and they spread it unknowingly to their child who isn’t old enough to be vaccinated yet. Either way, you are the outbreak monkey, asshole!

I’m vaccinated but I don’t really agree with vaccine mandates. I believe it’s a personal choice, I based my choice in the belief I am much safer being vaccinated then not.

Thank you for proving to me that you are a true follower. I have had COVID and still have antibodies, thus I feel no need to get the vaccine. Clearly you are not in sales based on your lack of questions and name calling. Best wishes!

Right, a multi billion dollar company is flushing itself down the drain because a few people will get canned.

Here's the thing, you aren't special, you leaving JNJ will not cause an implosion, and you will be forgotten as soon as your last day at JNJ is completed.

And most importantly, YOU are not top level talent. You're just some scrub posting on a message board.

You're arguing with a troll. I've heard from my friend at Pfizer that, just like 2 years ago, they're posting non-stop.

I'm home office (although WFH now) and I swear every meeting I go into someone is talking about how they just had covid or have covid now. It's a joke. JNJ mandates vaccines on all employees to "stop the spread" and it just runs rampant through all the vaxxed employees anyway.

C-19 should be considered endemic now…its not going anywhere ..the role vaccinations plays is to minimize disease risks or symptoms when you do encounter it and not to stop the spread …so of course it will continued to be passed around because regardless of vaccination its not likely going to be eradicated..the science shows with vaccination most individuals have less "severe symptoms” than without..therefore reducing your workplace's liability
