It's Official: Trump is a MORON

Terry Gould! Well, why didn't you say so! I mean if such a respected and famous historian as Terry Gould says it then it must be true! LOL!

And the real truth of the matter is that reputable surveys show that monogamous Christian couples have the best sex lives and relationship satisfaction.

Once again you prove yourself the gullible and stupid, idiot boy!

What Vag says is true. Just sayin.

President Donald Trump is overseas right now, doing personal appearances at his properties and making a fool of himself. So far, he's asked Japanese car makers to start making cars in the United States, apparently ignorant of the fact that three out of four Japanese-branded cars and trucks are already manufactured in America. And he hawked U.S. military equipment as if he were selling Trump steaks on YouTube.

That wasn't the worst of it. He also told American and Japanese troops that no nation should "underestimate American resolve." Then he quipped, "Every once in a while, in the past, they underestimated us. It was not pleasant for them, was it?"

It's been revised and translated thousands of times over 2017 years. If you read 2 biographies about Abraham Lincoln, who died 152 years ago you'll find distortions and different interpretations. One book never tells it all accurately. Get over it cupcake.

No, you need to get over it. The Biblical documents are amazingly consistent. So it's been translated, in effect once, from the original texts to the language being used.

As for your Lincoln analogy. We know with great accuracy and specificity what Lincoln wrote. Same for the authors of the Biblical books.

Your ignorance in this area is profoundly apparent, so you get over it, buttercup!

May be. You I believe because you are informed and reasonable. My default position with Vag is to doubt him. Like the boy who cried wolf, he destroyed his credibility long ago.

To the extent it is true, it existed prior to that and still represented a tiny, tiny subculture within the military. The overwhelming majority didn't go for that and I don't think the military would have tolerated it on a widespread basis.

Did you ever play that game in school where the whole class stands in line and the teacher reads a sentence to the person on one end of the line, that person then turns to the one next to them and repeats it and so on and so on until it reaches the other end - than that person say out loud what the heard? It always gets dist

No one ever said the 'overwhelming majority' of ANY population was involved in 'adult partying'. I simply said it had some origins in the military and I documented it. Wherever it started it has grown and is now enjoyed by millions of open minded, happy couples (and select singles). Oh by the way, the military has nothing to say about it unless you publicly post it in military dress on social media. And quite frankly, they don't care Sparky.

That game has no relation to Biblical translation and the reproduction of the texts.

The analogy would be each person in the circle going to the original person and being told first hand what the phrase is. Then everyone in the game would know exactly what was said and be in complete agreement.

You can't even get the simple things right.

The origins were far before the military. In the WWII era I figure the military might have indeed had something to say about it. Today is somewhat different and for the worse. Lots of potential for trouble.

The simple thing I got right is this: You live in a fantasy that is getting farther and farther away from reality each day - that's a fact.

Nah, you got nothing right.

The fact is that I'm the mayor of Realville. You're just the village idiot.

I know just exactly what's going on and we are paying a high price for it as a society. Meanwhile you are clueless and shallow.

I don't agree with everything V says by any means but he does make a lot of excellent points. Besides that he isn't rigid and hateful like you. You have hardening of the categories.

LOL!

I see you Vag! Hiding as an anon to support yourself! Pathetic!

You gave yourself away with your "hardening of the categories" stupidity.

Vag makes virtually no excellent points. He's a stupid, shallow fool and far more hateful than I ever thought about being. :p

My, my! You're really grasping aren't you? 'Hardening of the categories' is a common expression related to individual entrenchment of theological beliefs people are unwilling to even consider or discuss rationally. Of all people here, you should know that. If you google it you will find countless examples of its use. Of course those, like you, who only read ancient books are completely ignorant of modern literate expression. Try this loser, there are countless other examples.

No, I'm not grasping, I'm beating you upside the head.

You use that lame expression quite often to try to avoid serious, rational debate because you know you can't win those with me.

I read the Bible and lots of other material as well. Meanwhile your ignorance is deep and wide!
