Is there anything worse than Cardinal Health?

If the dividend is cut, investors will run for the hills. It's the only thing keep the stock above $35.

Don't believe anyone on the numbers. They aren't right. Cardinal owes me a bunch of money, and I have another offer in hand. I'm just going to take the offer because who knows if Cardinal will actually pay me. Past actions do not give me a lot of confidence.

Place is such a dumpster fire there should be mass exodus. The only reason I think there hasn't been is because of reps are comfortable and working 20 hours a week, maybe less.

Sustaining the CAH dividend will be iffy. Settlements and lawsuits due to Cardinal corruption with the now dead Opioid Golden Goose Eggs have barely reached alarming numbers. These lawsuits and fines will plague CAH for decades. CAH closed today near its 52 week low. Low rhymes with woe. And woe to all of you unsuspecting drones still targeted to lose your jobs. Someone has to pay for Cardinal's sins.

What a shit show the town hall was this morning. Blaze and his team looked completely defeated. Not only are IDN's leaving - reps and managers are leaving at an alarming rate. We can only hope the consultants recommend a new management team.

I am new to CAH. So what are the issue that make the IDNs leaving?
Couple of reasons, and I'm sure someone will fill in what I leave out. The first reason is distribution, operational, and backorder issues. We have a serious issue getting product to the customer. Whether it be our product or national brand. Whether its backordered or the warehouse misdelivers it. Combine that with the other systemic operational issues , and we create a lot of unhappy customers. I have been in on many higher level meetings where accounts have told us, "if it weren't for your reps, I would have left long ago. The reps are the only thing holding your company together."

The second is distribution has become a commodity. It's a race to the bottom. Our brilliant leadership is not longer willing to give up margin to gain business. Which is fine if your competitors are all publicly traded. Medline is winning the majority of the deals out there right now because they don't have to answer to shareholders

Bottom line is become a product company or be a distribution company. This in between shit doesn't work.

Don't count on the product side either...over paid and under delivering. Plus legacy stuff run into the ground. Casey nixed closing a factory a few years back w a good no-brainer business case. Poor incompetent leaders. They just worked on feathering their own beds..the Duff was a piece of fluff for years.

Thank you for the insights. Very helpful. The back order issues, are these an on going issue or just lately? What can be done internally if any?

How is our relationship with the GPOs? I saw some posting in regard to a letter from Vizient. What was that about?

Agreed if becoming a product company.

Thank you again!!

GPOs are only angry is their members are. They are third party leaches who feel the pain last. Lately, our relationship is more strained than it has been in the past. One GPO even asked for reparations for the back orders and issues.
