Well, one thing the MSBU has on the other teams and other companies is an RD that has been sued multiple times and costs the company 100 million + in settlement still running the show. He is still bullying reps and ABL's and getting away with it.

I want a job, any job at all, that gets me out of here.

I had a recruiter tell me that many companies are turning away from Novartis employees. She would not give me the reasons why. How scary is that?
It is gospel truth. Unless you have been here a long time and plan to retire from here, you need to get looking for a way out. And fast. To anywhere at all. Otherwise you'll never be marketable again.
The programs that have been developed have NVS ranked dead last and you're severely disadvantaged for any opportunity, despite your knowledge, experience, or skill. Your accomplishments are overshadowed by your employment here.

Unfortunately but a true issue. I would not go so as to say some of the above as their are fine sales people with NVS. But the continued failure to successfully launch products, the ongoing issues of legal problems with integrity ect... Have put a black eye on the company as a whole. A number of my clients do not even want candidates with current or recent past NVS as potential interview opportunities. Sucks but I get paid to get people hired.
Doesn't matter if you're a fine sales person. Or an amazing one. You work at NVS. Period. You are no longer marketable or desirable until or unless you have distanced yourself from this cesspool. And the sooner the better because it gets worse every day

Me either. I describe my job. And the disease state the med helps. Never, ever utter the company name.

So completely over it. Overall awful enviornment. I actually know a few who have gotten antidepressants just to manage and get their beards in the game to interview and get out .
I'm on two in the last 6 months in the MSBU.... I know many that have gone out on short term disability because of it....sad..... Says volumes about a company culture.
I heard in MI that a few years ago two or three nurses in a row came on board and then went on medical leave until they just quit
Then I heard it happened in a couple neighboring states.Seems like that couldn't be a job worth having. Don't know if that was the manager, job, or drug but word on the nurse educator street was don't ever come to Novartis for any nurse job.
Haven't heard from anyone about that state, or the others, but can't possibly be a good sign if sales is hearing about that side of the fence

If you are highly stressed and depressed from work, go see your physician, get a diagnosis of depression and go on short term disability. Stay on disability as long as you can and look for a job in the mean time. Before anyone says I'm dishonest or horrible, this company is slowing killing people by the amount of stress and anxiety it puts on its reps. Enough is enough. Do something about leadership Alicia! You're losing good people and don't even care. Talented people with passion and integrity. Leaving because of the leadership.
