Yes you have it correct the company is closing third quarter. It makes complete sense as we have seen upper and middle mgmt flee the company, a complete hiring freeze of all sales and non sales positions, stagnant sales and a pull back on the budgets.

Grow up already. It will be a challenge but 2012 is going to be fine.
 












I also agree that the comment left by someone using the word r***** is very offensive and shouldn't be used. Let's all be frank here, we probably have about 5 months left at Cadence. Scott will be leaving and the rest of the leaders dont have really good track records in terms of company successes. It is Just a giant cluster. Word of advice, don't believe what some of these leaders tell you about growth. When the floor drops for us, the reps will be given no notice and no severance...just a kick out the door.

This job is like a bad dream...I just want it to be over with...unless youve been a rep at Cadence you have no idea how bad this job has been on all levels. Financially. Emotionally. Stress. Reputation (rx hates us). Trust (lied to and conned). Used (sign doc saying we dont have to pay you bonus). Constantly bein micromanaged by my DBM who has no idea what he's doing. I've had to start taking sleeping pills just to sleep at night. Depressed? Absolutely. I've never experienced anything like this company. I prayed this morning for guidance and strength to please lead me and my family out of this mess.

Wow! I read your comments and it was like I wrote them! Please just know you are not alone. I share all your thoughts and I know many others do too. I can't sleep as well and I am not sure what my next career move will be. All that I do know is that I can no longer work for these very unethical people. We were mislead from the very beginning and I wish I never had left my prior job. What a huge mistake I made!

It is the worst experience for almost everyone. People are quitting without even having another job!!! You would think that would have been a wake up call to HR and upper management, but, unfortunately their biggest concern is protecting the company and the bullying, manipulative, unethical managers they hired. Cadence is a hostile work environment and it's not possible to work here and not have your health affected.
 






wow, I could have written the above 3 posts myself. It is comforting knowing that there are others feeling the same way although I'm sorry for anyone feeling this pain.
this is a hostile work environment; don't tell me there isn't anyone with a lawsuit?
I know our priorities are our health and jobs, but it is not right to be treated this way; and there isn't anything we can do about it?

I think you are the only poster judging by your dialogue and sentence structure. My team is intact and we will be at a 100k in weeks. Go away!

Randy...I'll go away when I find a new job. Btw, your favorites are interviewing and you and your idiot managers you hired have no idea! I've personally received phone calls from hiring managers asking about them. Hehehehehe. Your "team" is not intact. Pres leaving was just the beginning!

Did someone hit a nerve? Was it the word lawsuit? Hostile work environment? How did that denial work out for you last time when an independent party reviewed the working situation at Cadence?????????????????

wait! the BS (bipolar senior) ldrrship is a protected class. The hostile environment is something we have to put up with I heard they hand out meds prn, so the environment may improve

You people are pathetic, our only mistake thus far has been hiring a number of underachievers. With time we will weed you out and in the end the strong will survive and take us to the promised land. We're winning the battle.
