Is anyone else depressed?

I'm not the poster, but that is like the pot calling the kettle black. Look, you know this is a site to vent. If you don't like the comments posted, then don't take the time to troll this site. You must be unhappy, otherwise you wouldn't take the time to read the posts. We are all "done" with your type of comments. The fact is, this company sucks and the only reason most reps are still here is that they haven't found another job yet. No normal person is going to quit until they have another job lined up unless you are a moron. This company isnt going anywhere and eventually will fold. If you believe otherwise, then stay in your fantasy land.

I wish there was a "like" button. Thank you!

I'm just speaking the truth. We need more people driving sales, rather than complaining on this site in the middle of the day, like you. I couldn't help but notice you posted at 1:30 pm?? Go ahead and give us some bullshit about being on vacation or using your phone. Your sorry ass is the one who should quit. I'm done with ya.

This is a classic example of the unprofessional, ignorant and ungreatful attitude that is exhibited by Managment. We are lead by a bunch of pathetic, out of touch and moronic people. Driving sales? You come on out and sell with us, see and feel the constant hate and disrespect we get from pharmacy. It's a changed world out, but Managment can't provide us with any answers or ideas to help facilitate a change.
I'll explain it so your balding, over the hill, fat, monkey like brain can understand, instead of saying drive sales, jumping up and down and cursing, give us some resources and show up and throw up won't cut it.
Our clock is ticking and I hope you have something good, if not, this show may be over.

Wow! Now you are with us in the field, thank you! I think each manager should be given either a territory or an account for 6 months to be responsible for on their own. My manager is completely clueless and argumentative. The responses he gives me to the challenges I have tells me that the last time he sold was in primary care over 5 years ago.

I am constantly amazed at the poor caliber of managers at this company. It's embarrassing on many levels. I wonder if they will get decent raises. They couldn't even prepare the market for all of us. They had a year of free pay sitting on their asses and now they want to point fingers when things aren't going as planned. MAYBE if you would have actually WORKED during that year, some of this could have been avoided. We could have known exactly how resistant pharmacy was and been more prepared for that challenge. Other than the bs teleconferences what are these guys really worth?! This is indeed an unnecessary expense.

Why wouldn't they get decent raises? Most are part of the good ole boys club and that's all it takes.

I don't care about the raises they get, I don't even care about the raise I get; what I do really care about is how I am treated. That holds true for any company at any time.

I don't understand why you continue to complain? You obviously finished near the bottom last yr. With the new "corporate welfare" program we have in place, you should be set up perfectly. Everyone who managed to sell nothing last year, now can turn around and make 4x the quarterly bonus a good performer makes?? All while selling less than half the vials overall for the quarter! This program is perfect for a turd like you, enjoy it.

Amen! I love hearing from the people who didn't sell shit last year how awesome they are now. It's comical. It's delusional. It's Cadence.

You "top performers" from last year are not as impressive as you think you are. Most likely, you live in a rural area away from a big city where getting things on formulary simply happen faster. Every territory is different, and is it pretty hard to judge folks when the playing field is not even. I have met many of the "top performers", and was not impressed. There are some very talented reps, who were in the bottom half of the country last year.

Just go out and continue to grow your territory, and you will be making money this year. Stop being such a whiney douchebag and worrying about everyone else. Do your job.

P.S. I suspect you that you are overweight. Are you unhappy that you can not lose that extra 15 lbs? It is hard work, but I think you can do it. More salads. Less Starbucks.

Not impressed huh? I guess it's easy to say that when you were clapping for the winners at the meeting. You're like the person who watches the game and talks about how you could play with them, even though you lack the skill and have no idea what's going on.
Listen here chimp, if you didn't sell more than a few hundred vials and doubled your volume you are tops in the company and making a great Ic while providing meger earnings for the company. While a top performer from last year who sold thousands of vials and grows mild growth would be ranked lower due to the new Ic and system we have, while having a lower payout and provide a lions share of the company's earnings.
That's why real companies factor in volume and growth to ensure a level playing field.

What's funny is that you are projecting your own insecurities on me, I bet you're overweight, lonely, insecure and overall a very unhappy human being.
And I bet you love Starbucks with your fancy drink you douche bag, come work with me and I'll buy you a coffee from DD where the big boys go.

And seriously..... Go out and sell? You boys in Managment need to come up with something new, that's why we are in the state we are in.

Honestly I feel sorry for you, you have nothing in life and seem like you are in a lot of pain.

Yes, you are exactly right. The top performers were all from rural places like NYC and covered teeny-tiny hospitals like MD Anderson. Not only are you a douchebag tht cannot sell, you are also a complete idiot. Now go celebrate your 150% growth rate and the fact that it equates to maybe 1000 vials. I love it when people who had a crappy year cannot own it. Instead you say "it's not an equal playing field." And you call me a whiner? Classic.

waahhhhhhhhhhh

I did not notice any obese or largly overweight people at the meeting and dont understand where Starbucks fits into the picture.
So the theory everyone is debating is the you suck vs. you did or did not live in a big and or small city while being lucky and or unlucky and all the while drinking starbucks where you are trying or have lost weight.

I have summarized the four positions that have been made so I could try to understand better

You sucked last year(were not lucky) and did not soar in Q1 so you suck (unlucky again) and may or may not live in a big or small city where they may or may not be a starbucks.
You were the best (got lucky) last year and grew Q1 then you are the best (lucky)again.
You sucked last year (werent lucky) and soared in Q1 then you are the best (got lucky) in Q1
You were the best last year (got lucky) and did not grow in Q1 then you suck(did nt get lucky or lived or did not live in a big or small city.)

So complicated and cant wait to hear about Q1 vs Q2. So petty.

So, you've met the top performers and were not impressed, but many who finished at the bottom are very talented in your opinion?? Lot's of credibility with a zero like you.

Actually, I think the original poster was just trying to say that "it isn't how you start, it is how you finish". I am inclined to agree. There are talented people at the top, in the middle, and in the bottom. Let's see where people finish up at Year end 2012. For the most part, the top performers from 2011 are right back at the top for 2012. Let's just hope that we all do well and that we all make some $$.

I do probably think the person who wrote that long response was fat though.

It is about how you start. If everyone had started better, we would be in a better position today. And if you had a slow start, you will be hard pressed to catch up in terms of total volume. And I'm so sick of hearing people make excuses for their performance last year, but take total credit for their "high ranking" this quarter. Own both or none at all. Where we will be at the end of 2012? Unemployed and Cadence will be just a memory.

This company needs to GROW so it makes sense to incentivize people on growth. If you do exactly what you did last quarter then you're actually not as great as you think you are (whether this is 1000 vials or 10000 vials). Growing business in this environment should be rewarded. It all equals out in the end. Stop worrying about the next person and focus on your own business. The rank will change EVERY week so why get so worked up over it.
