Iroko Project

In the Western Region, I've had a phone screen with the recruiter, I have a phone screen in a couple of days with the regional manager. After that, they will let me know if I will be flown in for face-to-face interviews. If made an offer, then home studies will start in November and classroom training in December.
So far, my experience with InVentiv Health has been great and my recruiter is very informative.

I agree. Everything has gone smoothly fore as well. I think starting a sales team from the ground up is a huge task and is taking time to do so. The process is long but hopefully a good opportunity for many.

Would love to know if any RBD's had left a realatively secure position to join Iroko or if the majority of current managers were previously laid off and just looking for any available gig. It sounds to me like the opportunity could have a lot of potential if everyone involved so far has the same amount of confidence. If they are all just there for a "job".... than not so much....

Really? These drugs are DOA. Me 2 and will have no managed care so they will be nearly impossible to sell. i give it a year and a half. Quintiles has a similar project a couple years ago. The company and contract were done a little past a year.

agree with poster, might get I year but wont last to 2 these are not "true" pain drugs, mostly primary care first options, if pt is referred to pain specialist they are usually way past being treated with NSAID it is going to be the usual fight with PBM's and their push for use of generics they have hired several Pfizer managers who sold Bextra and this will be much more challenging

Most DM's recent Sunovion castoffs. Vice Presidents are Glaxo Smith Kline retirees. Managed Care handled by contract. Iroko management financial pros looking to cash in and sell for payday. Beware!

Agree!!!If this DM's were good at what they were doing at other companies, why would they take a risk and join Iroko? Those DM were all rejects, have no place to go but join Iroko and think they can make a difference. I smell Micromanaging.......

The thing that makes me concerned is that the products Iroko has are not approved and may never get approved due to the fact they are reformulations of old drugs. FDA doesn't seem to approve these unless the company is financially invested in political officials that oversee these processes. Or if these is a dire need for these products.

Does anyone know what they are offering for benefits? I know there is medical, dental, and a company car, but I don't know about a 401-K, or vacation and sick days given.
