You aren't replying to me but I believe you are missing the perrson's point. It's not just the cars, it's the possibly less salary than discussed with recruiter, no salary negotiation, no flexibility or discussion regarding pay or anything left behind, etc. How many top performers are going to jump ship for little to no extra salary, leave behind big bonuses, downgrade vehicles, miss out on 401k contributions for 6 months, etc for some potential upside of company stock? I don't believe many. For us who started in the process many months ago the wanting to attract top talent and creating a valued employees culture has changed as time has gone on. That's my feeling anyway, but all my colleagues around the country feel the same. Many no longer considering or no hesitant to start.
