$125 isn't bad but those choices aren't thrilling. Any info of what trims and options they come with? I know questions like this are considered silly by some but I actually work so I spend a lot of time in my car and want to be comfortable. I've had horrible fleet accommodations and great fleet accommodations and it makes a big difference in quality of life for a rep.

I agree! These are all pretty large territories for the most part and we are all very experienced representatives and many have had manager level fleet cars due to their tenure. While I do appreciate the use of any fleet vehicle, it adds to the overall package appeal to have nicer fleet options. It makes a bigger difference than you think. Anyone who gives you a hard time for asking belongs in primary care sales.

I hope it’s better than what the other poster said. It definitely says a lot about how a company feels about their employees if if fleet is decent.

This woman should not be managing people. Complete nightmare of a manager. Anyone in PITTSBURGH- consider carefully

It is not unique to her, the company's combination of a primary care like budget and a sales vp that has never traveled any path outside of the mega tv pharma world has created colossal holes. The good news is that most of the directors & managers working there right now have plenty of "development opportunities"

John Deegan is a manager with this company. Obviously they did not check out his past! How in the world would someone hire him?

He is not the only one as there are several others ...Omg...How? Well it is typical crusty Pharma network. The recruiting company has the good ole boy attitude/connections and if you are an old bms buddy Or a friend of a friend has something nice to say bout you well then you are all in...if not well sorry your not. He prefers to hire terminated DMs whose team hated them and didn’t perform... Wait until they are filling territories...small world we live in!

This guy who is recruiting worked with them a million years ago and all he needs to say is well... he or she is good! They will find out very quickly watch both Mid Atlantic and South. They will be lucky if they can get people in those territories as anyone of quality won’t do it.

I call bs

why so immature? Why would someone waste their time. Common sense while 140k is the top the manager has a salary budget. They cannot give everyone in the team 140k dumbass. It depends on many factors, experience, current base etc.

so yes offers are goin out at 105 or even below 100k if that’s what you are worth!

if those are the choices, am not interested in the job. I am not driving one of those piece of junks

I wouldn't not take a job just because of the car but I think it says a lot and I've felt a transition in this process from a company that wants to do what it takes to acquire top talent to ensure a successful launch to one that doesn't want to make that investment. The car, the unwillingness to negotiate salary, the unwillingness to comp for bonus and other pay left behind, etc. They will miss out on some top talent with this approach for sure and the difference between the #1 and #2 choice in some of the territories is more than worth the investment. Shame, and a bit concerning for the launch success as a whole.

I agree. Some of us have been in this process for quite sometime. Was told a few times that my salary requirements weren’t a problem. Then the offer comes in $10k less and won’t negotiate.
If the fleet choices are bottom of the barrel, that may be the tipping point for me to just stay where I am come next next year.

Have we absolutely confirmed the fleet choices? I was told they were still finalizing those but another poster mentioned several choices that were less than impressive. Has anyone else heard the same?

My offer was solid. And it includes a provision to pay any bonus or comp I lose from my current employer. I think they are being pretty generous. And they are offering a few different cars so you have choices. I’m taking this and running with it.

I wasn't, nor were the others I know offered any bonus or comp loss, I even tried and was told it wasn't available. Are you being serious?

I tried to negotiate and get at least close to what I was expecting or have some accommodations for stock and bonus I’m leaving behind. No luck so I accepted. I’ll try again to negotiate in salary maybe I’ll have more leverage in January.

If not.. I anticipate there will be more than a few of us going through to motions and quitting around April 1. The companies unwillingness to negotiate is an issue

Yea, I know some who ended up turning down their offers and others who accepted but will probably quit before start dates all because things didn't end up as good as they sounded initially.

They need to make it appealing for talent to leave where they are at if it's talent they want.

Just heard from a very reliable source that the phone screens being done right now for remaining openings are with managers "going through the motions" for HR/Legal reasons. Apparently these remaining jobs have already been offered and accepted and the phone screens at this stage of the process are bogus. The hiring managers just covering their ass in case their asked if they have done their due diligence with candidate screening. Just wrong!!!
