Interview

I've had the "pleasure" of being an insider...I can HONESTLY say that FSC Labs would be a VERY BAD career move. They have NO presence or respect in the marketplace or with Drs.

Just ask ANY Dr who his/her FSC Labs rep is OR..if he/she has EVEN heard of FSC or any of their products.

They are a mere shell of a company....Think of an M&M candy coated shell minus the chocolate inside....and see..NOW you have a clear perspective on the situation.

I'd rather sell oranges on a country road somewhere....

Did you rep for FSC before "insider"? I have a face-to-face interview next week In NC I think I would like to ride it out "just to see" will they reimburse my air-fair (as they stated)?

Im assuming the company is challenged with high turn over rate based on the forum- Can you give me insight on the interviewing managers (are they fair, do people leave based on the products) I was surprise to know there HQ is in an office suite- is this a third party company?

Has anyone been with this company over a year?

no , you dumb fuck, havent you read the posts??

It is $35,000 yearly which includes a car allowance of $6,000, and a phone allowance of $600 yearly. I am excited for the opportunity.

After the 2nd phone interview, does anyone know when to expect to hear back for the f2f?

WHAT A LOSER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHAT WERE YOU HOMELSS BEFORE???

Go back to enterprise rental cars , stupid moron

I don't think I could live off of $32,500 salary that FSC is offering. I haven't earned that LOW of a wage since 1992 or so.

Are they for real with this garbage salary?? WTH?

Hello,

I have an upcoming interview with FSC Pediatrics. Neither the person who completed my phone interview nor the person who scheduled my F2F had much information about the job, size of territory, start date (home study/training), reason for expansion, pay scale, or any other benefits. Obviously, some of this stuff I wouldn't ask in a phone interview, but a little more info would be great. Also, I couldn't find a ton of info online about the company itself or the products. Can anyone give me any insight on the company, the products, or any of the above questions? Also, any interview tips would be great! Thanks for any help!

I've worked for FSC for 3 years. The first two years sucked ass! My territory was producing nothing when I started. I made about 35k per year. I nearly doubled that this past year. Still not on par with other Pharma Companies, but I also have alot more autonomy than most reps. Your success depends mostly on the territory. There are some charmed territories that have already been primed and are pumping and FSC has in the past two years added 3 respectable products to their bag. The comments on this site written prior to 2012 are in most cases not applicable any longer. This company has weathered the worst of its days. Things are looking better. Compensation still need work though.

Thanks for the comments PF! Pretending to be rep and then complimenting upper management we can spot a marketing person from a mile a way.

What about this as a starting job right out of college? Yes it seems awful but I have an opportunity with them and I graduated college last May. Its been hard getting other opportunities in this field and a simple one like this could help propel me into a better position with a different company after a year or two of work... anyone have any advice on this?

I desperately need a job (and yes, I have read the posts and am willing to deal with everything written)...I was wondering if someone would please let me know who I send my resume to--internally or to a recruiter? I would really appreciate the help.

Check out their careers page here: http://fscpediatrics.com/Career.aspx

Best of Luck in finding a new position! We've all been there before...you'll find something! Just be patient, pray on it...it will come :)

You will regret it. You wont make much more than unemployment.

When you get in the field and see that all of your counterparts make 20-30 thousand dollars more than you for doing less work you will feel different. I am a former rep and I learned quickly and moved on quickly.
