Indeed a bellwether for Intarcia. So exciting!

The article describes him as the "general manager" for ITCA 650, and totally downplays Intarcia's importance in favor of touting his Novartis experience.
Anyone have any insight here? I never understood what Mahesh's job really was, and wonder what his sudden exit means.

Mahesh knows that if he stays the stench will stick to him like glue. It's hard enough having a recruiter say " wow lots of intarcia paper on the market". Once this shit pile goes full Theranos nobody will touch us with a hundred foot pole. They already see us as arrogant hype.
Smarter and employable ULT members are fleeing the sinking ship within 18 months of joining the circus.
Kudos to Mahesh and John Yee the real veterans of the pharma industry and respected to boot bailing out. They also attracted talents to the Boston cesspool who either left on looking to leave. It all started right before the CRL melee. Recruiters are wise to stay away from the shrinking and tainted talent cesspool.

Massive layoff due to CRL received from the FDA, because the team that handled the FDA audit at Hayward did an awful job, the funny thing is that this team who messed up the FDA audit are the people who survived the lay off, u can imagine how this organization is running.

Yep the worst run and led QA (chalk it up to SZ and her servant boy GK) was spared mostly whole from the massive layoffs and got bonus and fat raises. Mind you it was mostly QA's fuck ups that resulted in ugly FDA audit not to mention tacitly allow piss poor quality that resulted in stability and sterility failures that pretty much stopped the trials and out the whole damn company's future in doubt.

Another point KG cannot or refuses to see through is JS and his lack of abilities and how poisonous he is to the company.He talks behind KG’s back (lots of proof of this, KG just needs to ask people, I hear bitching from him everyday),is the very definition of dirty politics (what’s that value?),has enabled looting of company’s finances by maintaining sales force and their trips while pushing to fire all MSLs more than one year before launch. All feedback on him is ignored! KG wake up as loyalty to JS will sink you one day. One day soon the board will be asking you about him, the sales strategy, the money he spends and your involvement. Which world does this make sense in?
KG will throw JS under the bus in a minute. KG ALWAYS wants a fall guy so he can claim "I didnt know - its all his fault"
