Incentive Relief!

Give it a break???? Explain to me how a rep in the east finishes the last 4 quarters at 70%, loses their biggest account last half, is put on a pip and is now at 135% because of incentive relief. This why people who bust their asses think so poorly of management.

Well if we had any Managed Care contracts that allowed us to better sell it would help. TN and others have no clue how to run a great business. They do know how to line their pockets with cash at the expense of others. I would just be glad to see all the worthless Novartis people leaving Genoptix and returning to the mother ship.
 






Is anyone willing to share some information? I'm considering a position with Genoptix and would like to know what percentage of reps are making goal. Also, do they give you a phone or do you provide your own? Lastly, what about car allowance?

Do yourself a favor, don't consider Genoptix. The comp plan punishes reps for having success. If you blew it out in the 1st half your number was jacked up through the ionosphere and you won't make a bonus in the second half. However you will be harassed by your DM about not hitting your goal even though you carried the district in the first half. Run away from Genoptix, fast and far.
 






No offense but I assume you're young and naive based on those questions. You should be asking: 1) Will Genoptix be around next year? 2) What's the morale? Happy or beaten down? 3) Do people have confidence in management? 4) Is there a long term strategy in place to keep this ship floating?

Saldly, the answers are 1)probably not, 2) poor/beaten down, 3&4) NO!

Genoptix was sold to Novartis for a purpose. The more I talk to my DM, I can see now why it makes sense for Novartis to sell off the Hempath division and keep just enough to run the Hybrid division. She thinks, there might even be a big enough lab with FLow and stuff left for R & D. I am gonna lose my job regardless after I cash in my last incentive. Oh well, I got some time to interview then! Tina is a very smart women, she knows exactly what she is doing all along!!! To be fair about it, we have no reason to get mad at any one here, they are smart at what they are doing, they just can't tell us.

There are reps at 130% brining in $80,000/month getting paid more than reps bringing in $300,000/month because of this crap plan. Which territories are getting GDX closer to their forecast that they won't hit? It's not the low producing territories that aren't viable but are getting paid out the ass. Whoever created this disaster should be fired! Does Novartis know that the scrubs going to Pres. club are the divisions lowest producers? What a mess!

Dumbass that's how it was designed, so they only had to pay big bonuses for half of the year to the top producers. They obviously don't want the successful reps to make money and they treat us like shit when we can't hit an over inflated growth number.
 






Spoke to my PAE today and she was laughing at the agenda for their meeting. Anyone else hear about it? Isn't the hospitals and pathology groups where we are suppose to bring in the revenue? Should we be worried?
