Anyone work for or know of this company? Got a call from a recruiter about it and it sounds like an interesting opportunity (but then again, recruiters get paid to make everything sound good...)

They have been putting off interviews for the last 5 months. The recruiters keep saying that the company will be interviewing in 2 -3 weeks. They have been saying this since April? The company will likely not hire before the new year. They're just not ready. All recruiters are full of shit on this one!!!

Screening process is a joke! Interviewer admitted that they do not look at resumes because they are often inaccurate or not updated.

I would steer clear of this one, guys. They seem bush-league.
 
























This company is a DOG!! I have a friend that interivewed for a National Sales director position with them. He was far from impressed. He actually left in the middle of the interview.There are plenty of better opportunities out there if you can sell!!!
 


















have a look at senior management.this is nothing but a small gsk! the company's research and current product are actually valuable, but with the names like Tasse and Ross over the company and commercial ops, this is not a great opportunity.



They're like GSK? No thanks..GSK has had a terrible reuptation for treating their employees like dirt. Awful company culture. They'll find any excuse to get rid of good reps when they have too much pay and benefits coming to them. I've seen it happen too often. I don't work for GSK, but as an outsider I'd recommend you stay away if this is their culture.
 






GSK laid off 1000 reps last year, bought a company and laid off 600 of it's reps, and word is that they are going to be laying off again before the end of the year. If Ikaria has GSK people runing the show for them, then the reps better keep thier resumes warmed up.
 


















I too had a phone IV. Standard stuff, but waiting to hear about F2F. I work for big pharma and this opportunity sounds good. I am a bit concerned about leaving the security of Big Pharma though. Anyone have any thoughts? Ikaria?

Ask anyone over at Baxter about the Senior Management team. DO NOT leave a job to go to Ikaria. If you are unemployed, you may consider it, but realize it will only be a short term gig.
 






I agree with this post, take the position if you need it. Dealing with the recruiter was not a good experience...................Talen Tactics is a bunch of numbnut unprofessionals.

Seems like the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing--
TT recruiter contacted me over the summer, never heard back from him,
I applied directly via CareerBuilder about a month ago,
Filled out online screening shortly thereafter,
Had Phone IV two weeks ago, haven't heard back,
Just got a generic email from "a member of the Ikaria Staffing Team" saying they came across my resume online and "encourage" me to check out their job postings on their website...
Huh?

Why do think it would be short term? I need a change of pace, been with the same org for some time now and tired of micro management.
 






i also got an email from them regarding a RD position. Does anyone know if this is to sell Inomax for BPD or is it an expansion of the current sales force? If it is for BPD, the data looks terrible. Doesn't look like a good opportunity.
