You didn't have respect to your "previous" employees and you don't respect your current ones either. No surprise. Managers like you are trouble for the department and company and need to go. The sooner DH notices that, the better.

Not nice. You’re smart enough to know there are people that like to come on here pretending to be someone else. Some are/were not even in Finance. Please don’t isolate or mistreat your team members because someone posed as them.
 












I'm in Princeton office, here to let finance know they have it good. I work with handsdown the meanest people I've ever dealt with in my career.
Run! There's plenty of jobs in NJ and good talents are always in demand. There's no hope for changes at Taro- either in Hawthorne or in Princeton. The longer you stay with this company, the worse for you.
 






I think the key now is to keep people health. I see some walking without masks. Once someone gets Corona, the shit will hit the fan.

Her ally, MB is gone and he was the one who promoted her past two levels and got her the job.
Now she has to do more complicated work with a female CFO.

You're right. There are employees who like their job. Taro has some talented employees. There are employees who walk in and are nice. Everyday. Dealing with bullies like the one on 3 isn't easy. There's a hell of a long line of her previous employees who would agree. HR has a responsibility to deal with people like her. I've worked in companies where no matter how intelligent you are, if ANYONE walks in with a bully attitude, they're OUT. Either fix her, or get rid of her. NO ONE has the right to treat people like crap. The one on 2. That one has gotten rid of people and pushed them out just because she doesn't like them. Nevermind how good they are at their job. EVERYONE knows her history at Taro. If they've caught on to her, it's about time!

My girlfriend works for much bigger company with finance dept. of around 200 people. When all that stuff with "Black Lives Matter" started happening, their CFO had scheduled 15 min call with each of the minority employees personally to ask how they are doing and whether they feel safely and comfortable at work. I don't think he did it because he was less busy than our management. He just CARED about people.

Well said. Get rid of troublemakers. From clerks to executives. There's no difference. It's the only way to create a good and comfortable work environment. The bullies are no secret. Both floors are fully aware of who they are.

UB and AG will never do this! Have you seen their solution/response to BLM and turnover? It’s NOT firing bullies or incompetent employees. Their strategy with HR is to attract talent by putting up a facade of a culturally diverse and inclusive organization. Just take a look at any Sun Pharma job posting on Google. A carefully worded preface touting Sun & Taro as inclusive organizations dedicated to employee career growth & development. Such BS! CEOs of both companies consider culture/morale issue addressed and closed. They are trying to just attract talent under false pretenses. HR already did as instructed - fake a culture of inclusiveness where employees are happy. No one is getting fired, except one manager on 2 if they don’t shape up. Nothing is going to change. No new CFO is going to “fix Finance”. It’s up to you to figure out how to save yourselves.

It's a new day. Plenty of good companies out here. If nothing changes, I bet Taro will lose the remaining good employees. I wish I could get the good talent jobs where I am now. Good employees are recognized, valued and appreciated. People don't leave bad jobs, they leave bad management. The one on 2 will never shape up, but she may pretend to. She was always very good at it. The one on 3 has been out has been out of control for years. Everone knew about it and looked the other way. Forget filing complaints, nothing was nor will it be done. No consequences for either bully. And they're not the only 2. Taro has developed a bullying culture. Bully behavior taught other managers and lowerlevel employees that office bullying was / is acceptable. I can't believe all that nonsense is still going on. It's a neverending cycle. Taro is stuck in a very old fashioned way of running an office and I'm surprised no one from top management has been able to see how costly it is to not change to modern times. Hoping the good ones find a way out soon.

Immature, hateful, envious, nosey, miserable...there are a couple. They get no work done, too busy in everyone elses business. Its no secret, who they are is clear as day.

That's a good thing. If she's an experienced executive she'll see through and stop the bullsh*t. She'll make changes. Changes are exactly what they need. Too bad it can't happen on both floors. 3rd floor in serious need of a makeover too.

I wasn't witness to that promotion and not sure who the "blondie" is. But not surprised MB promoted someone who didn't qualify. He liked surrounding himself with stupid people - to make his own stupidity not so obvious. No surprise person is now struggling with the new CFO on board.
