If you are fired

AM now has more P Club wins under his belt than anybody else in the company. I don't think anyone has to defend him here anymore, and they are definitely shut down from criticizing him. I would drop his whole thread and do what AM does: Let his actions and track record speak for him. "Just prove them wrong." He said it simple and delivered it first class. I like that. If he could do it, so can we.

First time they retracted a P club Winn according to my sources. Good to hear they did the right thing in the situation though
 






It has happened more time than you may think. You are wrong at AM is owing on the trip, or at least he was copied on the winners email today. That isn't a sign that he was removed.

I don't believe this. Any manager who would go to senior leadership to do something like this would probably be fired himself.

AM is one of the best dudes I know and all they do is throw crap at him. I heard about the PIP thing too. I guess that even eight or nine P Clubs don't matter once you get in the crosshairs.
 






ISA & ISR are about to be ISFucked. Look for a conference call around May 1st. Been nice working with u old chaps but the party is over. MH wants blood in the water for your failures.

I also heard this. Also heard that the severance packages are going to be very generous to help avoid lawsuits. Some of the top academic reps are going to be offered two-year severance packages. The rich get richer, I suppose.

All made up. IF there are layoffs, the severance packages will be the standard two-weeks per year of service. The lawsuits from those already let go for non-standard "two-year severance packages" would far outweigh the lawsuits from entitled displaced academic reps.

My abm is being groomed and developed for Marti's position and what he tells me he gets directly from senior management when they consult with him. Not all academics are getting two years. Some will get one year and a few maybe the two weeks.
 












I sure wouldn't mind being one of those academics or ISRs. Cushy severance, especially if you're tenured, health benefits for life, intact pension which you should start drawing immediately, you know, all the stuff that the younger crowd remaining will see taken off the table soon. So enjoy your career here, you little masochist. I'll be sipping margaritas on the beach.
 






I too was impressed with the new president. Michael if you read this thread, please address this very disheartening situation at JBI. A long time highly respected colleague in the Dermatology franchise was also bullied by his manager, held accountable for inaccurate numbers and subjected to age discrimination. The people of your organization should not be treated this way.

Michael, the bullying does not only extend to older reps. If a director finds out one of his subordinates had contacted HCC to report violations, he makes it his mission to harass the reps out of the company. We have at least two guys in our region who are being managed out of the company for doing nothing more than adhering to the Credo.

Re-org...re-org...re-org. Every time the numbers get manipulated so they can help those they want to help. Also they have killed off very productive reps by portioning out their numbers and accounts, leaving them with complete garbage for a territory. Then the PIP starts.

As bad as this place is you should not be naive about MY's role here. He is here to increase sales. If that means firing all you all then so be it. If he needs to increase pay to get those sales he will. The problem is the information he gets, the information he will use to make his decisions with, is so corrupt and slanted to accommodate the current leaders visions that it is now useless.

The forecast calls for more restructuring, lay offs as the Remicade payday goes away, increased targeting of the pension crew and severance packages that look more like a past quarter bonus than a parting gift. The smart people are leaving or have left. The Remicade thud will be heard around all JnJ. And yes I am posting this in a coffee shop while having an early lunch before I do my thing. The word greatly demotivated comes to mind.

I agree with the part about portioning out accounts to ruin people's numbers, but boy has it backfired. In the past two years one of the academic reps had best accounts removed and was given accounts deep in the red, and both times he turned them around and won P club. My man put their noses into it by winning while the powers tried to screw him.
 












The immunology franchise, as you view it today, will be greatly changed in the next six months. This is being done in order for the organization to survive. You are about to see combined roles, territory responsibility shifts and total accountability on the field based roles. This will include the evasive ABS and ISA roles that can be difficult to evaluate due to duplication of efforts. Will there be people be let go? It depends if they don't like their new roles. Something tells me that most of the "old timers" are going to pitch a fit and quit. Go ahead and quit you old dogs. We haven't needed you to be successful for a long time now.
