Idorsia contract

Hopefully training won't be duplication of the same despite essentially working for two companies.
Its not feasible to train 8 hrs per day virtually or sitting on the couch. Attention spans last much less. I'd think it'll be realistic.
Besides, for alot of new hires, due to the low base for a "specialty-not..." poosition, this is a 1-2 yr gig at best, especially for I'm certain alot of managers/reps that are here because of pharma layoffs.
And (fortunately) given another opportunity to stay in this career. But, seriously, the base salaries with this contract leave alot to be desired.
 






























Based on the commission plan, is it wise to assume Jan-April qualifier will be based on successful completion of training etc?
Can't imagine them holding out until product is launched. In other words, only quality for bonus after official product launch.

Bonus starts May 1. They aren’t giving bonus for a ramp up.

Nice...did not see that in the official offer. That's not good. Raises some concerns, but this may prove to be a great opportunity as well. A true opp to go from "zero". Make it or break it if you are the only soul working in territory. Blow it up on sales this year , update the resume to reflect, and apply for a real specialty opportunity.
 












Keep in mind you will have both Syneos and Idorsia training. I’ve been on contracts where you went through 2 of everything- diversity, legal, pharma, etc.

Massive layoffs 4th quarter

Just collect that paycheck and look for another job.
