Idorsia contract

How is everyone staying motivated to do this job anymore? Serious question, any advice appreciated

It’s extremely difficult to be honest because the company is all lip service and a lot of radio silence. T3 is over almost 1.5 months and we still DO NOT have a scorecard for any month.

I just go out and frequent my high decile and fun offices. I still enjoy the job and what it offers.

It’s relatively impossible to be motivated.

Leave. You don’t need to look far to find a better opportunity.

Today - you need to know someone to find a new job. Most are internal promotions. I’ve been applying for over 6 months and can’t even get a phone screen. 10+ years of experience.

My experience, if it matters. Several months of rejections, and then within 3-4 weeks multiple interviews with multiple companies, one of which resulted in an offer. The situation you’re in is definitely worth moving on from, just don’t give up.

Yes, it's really tough to get a job, 4 months now. Congrats on the new job.

I was on this contract for about 18 months before leaving. It definitely wasn’t the ideal pharma job, but thankfully I had a good DM/team that did make it more manageable. Since leaving, I have helped at least 5 people find other jobs in pharma simply through LinkedIn connections and resume review. Some very qualified people who were getting no calls backs had disastrous 3 page resumes that were outdated. I hope everyone still here updates their resumes to 1-2 pages and uses all the great free resources out there for resume help. Look at teal.com if you would like help. It definitely takes a while to get a new job, but we must make sure we are up to date on resume trends. Hope that helps anyone looking for something new. There are better jobs out there! Good luck to everyone looking for a better opportunity.

Legally they have to pay out the bonus no later than 90 days after the close of the trimester (3/30/2024). So the paycheck before that date is 3/22/2024. The date of 2/23 is incorrect.

Syneos always pay late, they are strapped for cash. Idorsia pays Syneos, Syneos pay you . Syneos will not pay you "on time" if they dont get paid first. You are making them all an interest free loan out of your own pocket.

historically it is end of march. And we are getting new fleet vehicles. Confirmed on wheels!! Woooohoooooooo.
Shake it to the left, shake it to the right
Come on, baby, you know what I like
Shake it real funky
Shake it real low
Shake it 'til you can't shake it no more
It's a natural attraction
Mother nature wouldn't make a mistake
What really turns me on
Is the shake

To all those who get a hard on off of a Ford Escape....
