I work at amgen. ask me anthing. I'll answer honestly

How much does Amgen give for home internet? Cell phone? Caps on number of speaker programs? Caps on attendees at speaker programs? Do they have TLL's? What is stock purchase program? Who do you use for your HUB services? Is BCBS your insurance provider? What is KAM salary band range and how much extra in bonus?

Current KAM pay is irrelevant given you are guaranteed your current base and at target goal...look at previous comments. yes there are TLLs. ESPP has been covered on here, too. 5%.

It is relevant since inflation isn't going down anytime soon and I'll expect a raise based on my 2023 performance. So what pay grade and the bands are very important. I know I'm not going to get an 8% raise to cover inflation but 4% this year and 3% next year (if possible) puts me over 215k base. My income is important because it allows me to get credit which allows me to purchase more rental properties.

None of the people on here know the exact pay band, and pay bands obviously change each year as people get raises. Also, obviously the pay band structure will be changing to accommodate the higher target bonuses of Horizon reps. So you will just have to deal with not knowing. You'll live.

good for you kiddo

Kiddo there is NO car allowance. You drive the Company Car. If you drive YOUR car, you pay for all gas and all maintenance.

They give you a cell phone. Can't port your number over at least from what I know. I couldn't 9 years ago. Maybe they've changed. I wish we had a cell phone allowance. You pay for personal mileage. Health insurance high here and plans not that great. Bonus sucks here unless you have a formulary win, and even then it's never great.

I have worked for both companies. I would get a 5% raise at horizon and a 2% at Amgen. Stock is 4-6 shares vested over 5 years. If you win club you get $7500 that vests in 1.

Shows your ignorance on rare disease. We don't worry about formulary wins...we sell and add value to offices for scripts.

I would hope this isn’t true, especially for some products in the Horizon portfolio that have competition in the space. I can think of one big one in particular. Being added to formulary at a large system with multiple Centers of Excellence would be a significant win worth celebrating.

not really...if a Dr. wants any product bad enough for a patient that needs it they can get it. We aren't talking 1000 scripts...its different than repatha or enbrel. Its understandable that you don't understand. As for "multiple centers of excellence" and "large systems" depends on the product. Krystexxa doesn't call on 340b accounts which is 95% of those that you speak of. Tepezza has nothing to do with centers of excellence- in fact some of those are actually done in our Rheumatologist offices as they love to make $.

I wasn't talking about YOUR drug.... I was speaking in general about Amgen. The reps here in most disease states do not make any money unless you have a huge formulary win. Even then it's never a huge amount. Maybe double at best. $15 k vs. $8K. YOu're NOT walking away with $25 or $50 K bonuses. A lot of time you are getting $2700 or so. It's a joke.
