I hate working at Merck because .....

"Happily retired"... and still hanging out on Cafepharma? Most come here to vent because the Pharma "anonymous" feedback surveys after NSMs and annually are never really anonymous.

If I were happily retired I'd never "set foot" on this site again.
 








I have to agree with poster #41 on the anonymity of any survey done. In the NorthEast, the written Q&A that was collected during general sessions at the meetings was screened by a manager so only "softball" questions were answered during the meetings. I know this because I was a manager and knew the manager well that was screening. So if they are screened live, why wouldn't the large surveys done on the salesforce be screened? That told me upper management really didn't care what the field thought.

Help them meet their goals and they look at you as a true member of the team and treat you with repect. I had many reviews with my manager on a golf course. And one at a casino. I just found out a rep I knew from our district turned out to be one of those little backstabbers! We both interviewed for a job last year but she decided to badmouth me (some call it lies with a purpose) to lock in her opportunity! Even though she had the job pre-arranged and locked in she had to stoop to these lows. Absolutely amazing what co-workers will do...Geez, thought she was decent until I heard this one! What a blow to learn how underhanded some people can actually be.....

This kind of lunacy is why people create threads like this....
 








Attaboy! Lol...how on earth did you get a job at this company with language like that? You really need help. You don't know me, but you're so angry towards me and the world. Seek help or do your fellow cluster mates, your former friends, and even your family a favor. Consider suicide. Nobody wants to be around a person like you. That will be one less person laid off by Merck, one less cluster mate worrying about getting laid off due to the opening you created, and one less angry husband verbally abusing his wife and kids. They will perservere and move on to a happier life with someone else. That will teach us a lesson!
