This convo stops at the action figures that they spent $$ on and asked us to use to sell while Trelegy was hitting the ground and eating our lunch. But even outside of that our sakes strategies suck, our marketing pieces (when we get any) are either so busy looking that it doesn’t stand out or is a bunch of diff shades of navy blue colors or had the drug name in small letters in the bottom corner. Basic marketing tells ya to be simple and easily impactful, use bright attention getting colors and make your brand and simple message easy to find and see.

It also doesn’t change the fact that this company sux azz at marketing and are cheap af with marketing/selling resources and formulary coverage.
Let’s not get started on the lame and confusing IC plan. So one doc’s prescriptions may be worth $300 and another doc’s may only be worth $150 Lololol. Oh wait...let’s not forget how 3 formulary plans are tied in to your bonus and ranking. Sheesh we have a terrible IC plan. And marketing sux.

Because my base salary is high AF and I’m not gonna get that at 98% of pharma companies in today’s market. And the real handcuffs is our pension plan. Definitely can’t walk away from that. So I know our company isn’t committed to winning, it’s just squeezing that last few drops of juice out until it’s over. And it’ll be over in 2-3 years.
None of that changes that our company is cheap AF with resources and makes it difficult to be successful especially when GSK is a marketing machine, has plenty of budget money and samples to grow business with. I’m just barely able to sample my high volume accounts and even then they’re gonna have to go about 2 weeks without samples. So it’s impossible to really try to develop new business.
We have several good pieces of data that could help us grow business but this cheap azz company doesn’t wanna pay to produce the materials for reps.
Well I sure hope we don’t lose more formulary coverage again this year. How do you get docs to prescribe a me too when it’s 50% or less covered and your competitors are 98% covered.
Good luck Chief. I’m sure the whole Net Sales model with high volume and low volume markets competing against each other in one bucket is really fair. Oh yeah not to mention one Territory may have 30% coverage of respimat and another territory may have 60% coverage but they still compete in the same pool
This isn't just BI..It's all of Pharma. It is what it is. Our competition may have it "better" in your eyes but just go to their board and you'll read the same crap there (or a variation applicable to them).
You need to get over this; psssst it wasn't that big of a deal, seriously. AND go to GSK's board and get an eyeful..How about YOU wake up?No. Lmao. Just no. Other reputable companies do not put out dolls and tell their sales reps to use dolls on a call with a highly trained physician. Nobody and I mean nobody in the history of pharma has ever done that. Good lord man lolol. And to top it off they paid for everybody’s travel expenses to a POA just to give us dolls and tell us not to take them out of the box but to let the physician take them out of the box. Apparently that’s a very crucial detail in successfully selling with the dolls lmao lolol. Meanwhile a new competitor was launching a flew past Respimat prescriptions (Stiolto and SP Respimat combined) in about 6 months.
Also no other reputable company has a marketing department worse than ours. We are always about 1 year late reacting and even then our marketing sux azz.
Quit trying to spin this. I get that you’re a company man and all but everybody knows we suck at marketing and we are cheap AF. BI is a good place to come if you want a job where you’ll never win and you won’t get a lot of pressure to perform. Just get you’re calls in and get your DM to like you and you’ll always have a job.
Respiratory is almost over. It’s very clear and easy to see. They’re just getting those last few drops out before they let go of Respimat and just collect $$$ for HH & whatever still comes in for Respimat. They’d make much more money that way cause they don’t need a sales force. Trelegy is about to take over with their asthma indication.
