Hot off the Press: Novo Leadership Makes Headlines

Couldn't agree more. I will clock nearly 5 hours of teams and other conf calls this week during time when I am supposed to be out in the field. Initiative on top of initiative, special projects for everyone on the team, and incredible micromanagement metrics. I am working 60+ hours a week easy. I just deleted Yammer, don't care anymore if I am not a 'team player' because of this. Like nothing I have seen in my 20 years in pharma.
This is so true, it is out of control.

So true...or those same shitty people come on here and trash leaders that they are so far removed from there is no way in hell they know what they are talking about. And in cases where someone is really working 60 plus hours a week and is in the field? Have the conversation you need to have with your boss like a grown up and do something about it. Yes, there are absolutely some leaders at the top who don’t know how to truly lead so they focus on the minutiae, the metrics, the BS stuff that doesn’t really matter - but that’s par for the course.

Time for ppl like this RBD named to Pay the Piper! Hope she takes them to the cleaners.

She won’t. Disgruntled former employees who whip up fake lawsuits rarely, if ever, get much. Fortunately, Novo started fighting lawsuits like this one in the past instead of settling and giving these liars what they ask for. Kudos to our legal team for standing behind the truth as opposed to giving in.

If there is truth to this case, Maybe you should be added to the list for protecting people in Power who have it in for Females. Just saying don’t be so quick to defend whoever was indeed implicated. Let the chips fall where they may and if this dude is guilty then time for him to move out !!

There’s not truth to the case. We know who this lady is and who she was as an employee here. Garbage then, garbage now. She doesn’t care who she lies about and drags through the mud in her quest to get more money she never earned or deserved.

Remember, in America, it’s not what someone did or didn’t do, it’s what someone can prove:)

Well, she’ll probably have trouble proving something he didn’t do. As is typical, she’d walk away if we threw a few thousand bucks at her. She knows nothing happened, but there’s essentially no penalty whatsoever for someone to file a BS case like this. I hope she’s exposed for the liar that she is.

Agree. Female leadership is a sorority house (yes I am a female too)! But the lack of strategy, micromanagement, ridiculous things our region is required to do (yammer, friendship spread sheets, etc) is just bizarre and I feel like I am rushing every week. And the hormonal peaks, we walk on eggshells. We have a singing ACL and a whack as a RBD. Selling is no longer our primary job maintaining the periphery is our job. Proving value has to be posted on media, whether that is donating to your favorite charity, or a photo with your favorite account/hcp.
Yes we are also subject to this too.

So true. Can you spell P-I-A? How about M-E-L-I-S-S-A? If not, just settle for I-N-C-O-M-P-E-T-E-N-C-E.

Add B-L-A-N-D-I-N-E and ask her how many males she interviewed before appointing someone with no sales experience to head up biopharm sales ?

The answer is zero.

Looks like the ‘club’ has taken hold.

Long time employee adjacent to BYOUs region and the “Valley” has been a white male fraternity from the “Connells” CHCN & AUCO, and of course now. Dismal record of non-diversity in leadership or DCS level, probably the worst in the Southeast.

I believe the region has had no more than 3-4 diverse (or female) DBMs during the decade plus I’ve been with the company. Surprised it took this long as BYOU has an even bigger god complex ego than either of the two RBDs before him.

Spot-On ! Ben is directly in the Crosshairs and he’s brought it ALL upon himself. There may even be more ppl coming out as is usually the case once Worms like Ben Young have been exposed. Ppl on here vouching for him better watch out. They have no clue what evidence is included in this case.

Wow, I love the uneducated opinions of the simple minded. There have always been at least two to three female managers, there is an African American Manager, there has been a Native American Manager. Last time I checked I believe all of those fit into the diversity segment. Lots of internal promotions from Rep to RFT to Manager. Weird I think that is the path Julie took all within the Mississippi Valley yet she claims she wasn’t promoted?? Yes Novo will probably pay her something to go away and she will spend it on one of her 20 or so slum houses she owns in Louisiana. Maybe managing that many rentals took time away from being a successful manager here at Novo. Food for thought

Thanks BYOU. Great false narrative. Mississippi Valley dating back to 2008 onward. As a DCS I can only think of a few females and one or two men who were diverse and that is it for diversity at Novo in the region. This is fact unless you are trolling.
