Hey, where did the awesome culture go?

Pops best days are behind him. We need fresh ideas and experience here, but how has anything gotten better since Big Pharma Jim Robinson came here???

Big Pharma Jim Robinson is flushing the culture down the drain and adding expense after expense. May be Lee Ann should be the new CFO with all her penny pinching.

I have worked here a very long time and I have to say, this is the lowest the moral at the company has ever been. It is not just the leadership, it is the lack of experienced hires they bring in now. It is to hard to attract good talent after the screw up we had earlier this year. I just hope we can dig ourselves out of this mess.

For everyone posting such negative items on here, you can vent, but don’t you want a good place to come to every day? I know it is hard to be positive in these working conditions, but let’s try. Try and smile at work once in a while. Maybe hello to someone in the hallway.

You are spot on. It’s up to everyone to control their mindset and do what they can to keep themselves positive and help move forward. If anyone can’t do that for themselves then it may be time to find another home. Unless you like working in a environment you hate. Trust me no place is perfect.

I agree with you, but unfortunately, I think the bad leadership, bad FDA relationship and bad work environment, it would take a miracle to turn this place around. I have been at Alkermes for three years and people used to love working here.

The best thing that could happen is we are sold to a company that can sell our products, buy us all out and make everyone move on. My friends in the industry say we are a laughing stock. I am embarrassed to work here.

Your friends are embarrassed? Riigghttt. It’s funny but many of my friends are trying to get hired by this company. Move along deadbeat!

I agree! I’m getting calls daily asking if Alkermes is hiring and that their current company is horrible. There is a very positive reputation at Alkermes. Everyone should stop complaining and walk a mile in someone else’s shoes so they can appreciate it here.

Bullshit! No one is calling to work here. Try again stupid.

I have had 3 friends get laid off in the last month. Amgen, Takeda, and the list goes on. My old company is turning into a nightmare as well. So while this may seem like a bad spot, trust me, there are worse situations that what we’re in. We have two capable drugs and we just need to sell them as best we can.

What I can say is, this company needs to redo this crappy IC plan. It’s bullshit. Lol!!

He sees the future in the company and decided to leave. That says so much!
More like he realized all the things he did will not have any impact on increasing sales and saw it was time to bail. I think he finally realized that adding FRM's to a product that isn't an oncology product was foolish. What was he going to do? Fire them all? Nope. Instead he quits and gets a job with another company and leaves us to clean up his mess.

Lol Classic Jim responses above to dodge rumors of being fired.
Publicly traded companies are required by law to make public announce and filing as soon as any executive employment contract is signed. Even if the start date is in months or years away, the company by law is required to make a public announcement. There are no press releases regarding Jim joining any new company atm. Obviously this regulation doesn’t apply for private companies, however, can’t imagine any promising successful company would want Jim given his lack of biotech experience
