12 of the top 15 YTD are TMs that have been here for 2+ years. Maybe you are so new you don't know how to run numbers

I am MORE then proficient at running the numbers I have at my disposal! Having said that, I have no way to cross reference it with the tenure of each rep.

So one of two scenarios is at play here:

1. You are a corporate employee.

or

2. You are stupid enough to believe everything corporate/your AD/your RM tells you.

In either case you are a pathetic asshole that should get lost!

Speaking of numbers, let's dive into them! If the above is actually correct, here is how that math shakes out:

- ZOLL has ~330 TM's.

- Of those, ~75% have been with ZOLL < 1 year.

- That leaves rough 82 "tenured" TM's.

- Subtract your "12", and that leaves only ~70 out of a total of ~330 TM's that aren't the most successful yet are still here.

Something doesn't add up...why on earth would this be the case!?!?

Most reps will do close to $170K but a handful will do close to $200 and a couple may exceed that. I think the car allowance is around $500/monthly

So the "knowledgable" poster above knows what most reps will do, but doesn't even know the correct amount TM's (reps as our knowledgable poster calls them) receive for a monthly car allowance...

Like the posts previously have said over and over and over.... If your in an area of reimbursement (and there are not many) you can make plan. There are over 300 reps in the company. 70 percent turnover. You give us 15 territories with reimbursement. And by the way one city with reimbursement may have 3 reps within it. So hit the road. Let's see the company survive on 15 territories. Lol. Some areas are reimbursed over 6k a month for a vest. Look at the north east!! Nothing!!! You might average 1800 a month for a vest. So we have to do 2 patients for your every one to make quota. Ya right nice system.

The most a tier 2 rep did last year was 181. I did 176 and I won't come close to my number this year. With expansion there are only a couple tier 3 territories left so your a bullshitter. Just had a meeting and AD gave us the scoop. So get lost and quit hyping this hell hole!!

I have officially been offered a TM position in the southeast. The insurance coverage for the Lifevest is extremely good. I have been told 1st year average is $171k and 2nd yr avg is $191k. In reading these boards this sounds like BS. Can anyone confirm? Also, is it true that holidays are not provided and that you have to use vacation days for that? Its nowhere in the sales handbook or in the offer package. Nor is the period of being vested within the 401K. Thanks in advance..

Read the site as everything on here is confirmed and real. Insurance coverage or not, you will not make the money they are sharing with you. Perhaps for a few months but after that you will be making your base salary only. You are correct about the vacation time and holidays. There are no holidays. Zoll is 365 days per year, so if you want Thanksgiving off, take one of those vacation days, Christmas take a vacation day, New Years Day, take a vacation day. It is in the handbook in small print I'm sure you can find it. You will see that there is not much vacation time with this package. Nobody shared that with me before I joined and boy did I lose out on vacation time considering what I had before I left my previous job to come to Zoll. Please do not make the mistake I made in going to Zoll, I believed the lies from the recruiter and LV management..and it was all lies. I regret the decision every single day. It's your career be very very careful . Do not be swayed by the money as it's not real and this certainly isn't device and will not give you entry to a device job.

LOL! you will not be making that money and sure will not be here in year 2. 75% of the sales force is 1 year or under and will be next year and the year after that. Get the picture? Nobody stays or makes it to year 2. Yes, you have to take a vacation day to take a holiday off.

^ 100% accurate! Do not make the same mistake as the 75% of new employees do each year!

PLEASE do not accept the position unless, AND ONLY IF, you do not currently have a job! You will not make the quoted money on an annual basis. As others have said, you may make that amount for a few months, but you will not make it on an annualized basis.

The company claim about vacation is; being that ZOLL LifeVest is owned by a Japanese company traditional holidays are not observed, rather PTO issued and used at each employees discretion. If you ask me, it's just another way for ZOLL to f@@k over employees!

I have been here <1 year and this place SUCKS!!! In ~10 years of medical sales this is the slimiest, most unprofessional, conniving, back stabbing company I have heard of.

First the recruiters flat out lie to you. Granted most recruiters over sell positions, as they have a vested interest to get them filled, but this is on another level. What these recruiters do is the similar to telling your kids about Santa Claus...it just isn't real!

Up next are the RM's. They are the next spin doctors. They are obviously telling non-stop lies to fill the 75% turnover.

Finally, after the RM's have found their "victim", they present them to the AD who seals the deal with his/her lies.

I have experienced all this firsthand. Additionally, I am above my quota and STILL hate this place!

Everyone gets on the marketing department for their ineptitude and lack of credible data. Maybe all along we have failed to see what they actually do! Maybe what they actually strategize to market is all the open positions and to fill the continuous vacancies!

If this is the case, they are the greatest marketing department in the world!!!
